I shop Harvey Norman and it's my favourite. This occasion they wasted my time wanting to buy 2 phones and they refused to price match the Goodguys and officeworks. The phones were top of the line Samsung and they let us walk over a $50 discount on the both phones. I think maybe after 10's of thousands of dollars spent over 5 years, time to move on from this store. The sales man told us to go back to the goodguys. Phones were $1529 at goodguys and $1597 at Harvey Norman. With my good buying history and always looked after me but Harvey you have let me down. Shop around and don't make Harvey Norman your last stop, they are not competitive.

Worst retail experience ever in the electrical section. Rude cashier and misleading staff. This is a franchise business and the owner will make you get a faulty appliance fixed twice rather than replacing it. So happy ASIC (Australian Securities & Investment Commission - essentially the Australian watch dog to keep ordinary Australian's safe) is suing Harvey Norman for misleading customers. I will never set foot in this store again.

Went in to buy cleaning products and water filter for our coffee machine (that we bought from Harvey Norman) the helpful young lady told me what we needed, so purchased, but once home checked and realised the filter she selected was incorrect. Took it back but they would not replace or refund (as it’s a filter product)Fully understand, but we did not select the wrong item, the Harvey Norman staff member made that mistake. Will think long and hard prior to any further patronage…..

I visited the store today with a pre approved product care claim already printed thinking it would make the claim process easier. The store wasn't busy, maybe 2 or 3 others.I approached a salesperson and presented the approval notice and was immediately told they they didn't know what to do. They approached the cashier to pass me along, who quickly advised that she also didn't know anything about product care. The cashier then called someone in the office to ask what to do. ( I assume the franchisee).The original salesperson standing by was advised to log the paperwork on the product care claims portal. I waited a minute or two. They returned and advised that there wasn't anywhere to lodge the preapproved claim. She handed the paperwork back to me and advised that I needed to call product care myself then left.I tried calling the product care claims number twice and was advised that the office was closed and that I needed to call back during business hours weekdays.I then approached the cashier as my faulty item was on the counter, She looked confused and scared when I asked for my product back. She began making defensive comments as if I was arguing with her. I had not. I simply asked for her to return my item to me.I have returned home, having received completely ineffectual service.For a company who claims to have or pride itself on customer service and support, today's experience was unsatisfactory.I have wasted my time here at HN Capalaba.

I would like to say a big thank you to Mel for going above and beyond to help me out with an online order I had with the Loganholme store. Loganholme were no help at all and when I called the Capalaba store, Mel was more than happy to help me out. She even left post it notes everywhere for the other staff to know about it on her days off. So thank you so much Mel you're certainly a gem and I appreciate you. We finally got the Harry Ptter Deluxe game sent to Loganholme.

We have purchased from Harvey Norman several times. We had not purchased from the Capalaba location. The day we were there (30 April 2023) it was very busy. We waited a bit and Dan was finally free to help us. He was very knowledgeable about the product we were looking at (the Morton 2.5 seater leather sofabed). He was helpful and did an amazing job getting the one wanted ordered.I will go back and buy with/from him again. He is a great asset to Harvey Norman.Cheer,Helen

I've shopped at this store since it opened. I have never been so disappointed with the service at the checkout as I was today. I was helped by a lovely lady at the start, and we continued to see what else we needed. We then proceeded to the checkout area only to be left standing there for at least 15mins while staff over further chatted among themselves. When someone did finally turn up, he was quite rude. I have had this service at good guys, but never at Harvey Norman. I did spend a fair bit of cash, too. NOT HAPPY JERRY...

We had a warranty issue with our Breville coffee machine. Michael and Robert went above and beyond to achieve an acceptable result with our machine. Your customer service was exceptional. Thank you again guys.

Manager is very disrespectful, talks down to you, does not provide solutions to your problems. Staff members at optus capalaba central have multiple complaints about customers coming to them after Harvey Norman has ripped them off. I'd advise you save your time and money by shopping somewhere else.

After visiting several stores looking for lounges the only one comfortable we found at Harvey Norman.We would like to thank Jessica for being so helpful, patient and lovely to deal with. Would definitely recommend asking for her when visiting Capalaba store.. thank you Jessica for making our shopping enjoyable.
