I have been a regular for over 10 years at West St Salon… Dean has always been amazing… always so friendly & warm not to mention great colour & cuts… but now he has retired from cutting, Nigel has taken over the mane & I have to say he is next level …. Total trust on what the end result will be… sorry Dean haha but can I say your coffee game has gone next level with the new machine…. But seriously anyone who’s looking for a calm, friendly relaxing salon with probably one of Sydney’s best hairdressers you need to visit this salon.. I could not rate them highly enough!

Highly Recommend Dean, Nigel and the team at West Street Salon. I have been coming here for a few years now and can’t recommend them highly enough. When I first came I had very unhealthy bleached and brittle hair. They have brought back my healthy hair back to life and it’s shiny and so soft. I can’t remember the last time my hair has looked so good. Definitely the best place to go and they will give you a very warm welcome.

Went in for a haircut after reading all the amazing reviews online as I couldn’t manage my knee length hair anymore. Was so happy from the moment I stepped inside. Every single member of the team at West Street Salon were friendly and simply lovely! Big shout out to Nasim. My goodness does she know to work the scissors! So professional and down to earth. I got exactly what I asked for and feel so beautiful! I left feeling like a new person. I would never want to set foot in any other salon. Very highly recommended. You’ll not be disappointed at all!!!

I have very thick and long curly hair and went in to get a trim and a “new look” and ended up cutting at least 6 inches of hair and I love it!The staff are very helpful and friendly and have a great overall knowledge on all hair types.The salon itself is beautiful and well maintained.A bit over priced for the a trim as such, but apart from that I recommend this salon a 100%.

Awesome hairdresser in North Sydney, highly recommend. Dean and the West St Salon team have been my hairdressers of choice on the lower North Shore for many years. They've coloured, streaked, cut and treated my hair from when it was very short to when it was longer and curly. Their products are always excellent quality which I think is really important. Next door is a terrific coffee shop too which is super convenient! I sometimes also have a quick blow dry when I'm heading to a work event too and it is always perfect (and lasts for ages).

I cannot recommend West st salon enough! Nigel is amazing at colour and just knowing how to get the cut perfect! I love going here its my favourite place! All the staff are lovely and welcoming and the salon is just divine! For someone who is very picky with her hair - this place suits me to a tea! Love love love!

Dean & Blake are amazing! I highly recommend if you are looking for a new salon that you try West St. They are the best colour experts.I always enjoy my visits here. I love the relaxed & welcoming atmosphere. Such a beautiful space to get your hair done.

Had a cut by Nigel a couple of months ago and I am gonna travel again from Newcastle to his salon hahaha. He is great with styling and coloring.Since I moved from Dubai this is the best cut for men Ive come across. Kudos! very clean and great customer service.

Highly recommend this great little salon. Salon itself is lovely and Nigel is the expert of all experts on colour. Best balayage, and have to say the best colour I have had in about 5 years. If you are considering trying you won’t regret it.
