I went into platinum last night and had my haircut by the wonderful young apprentice. It was a fantastic experience, the staff were super friendly, the haircut looks amazing. I was more than happy to be able to let her learn. My haircut was exactly what I asked for. Just wanted to give praise to the everybody at platinum. Keep up the good work ladies. I will be back

Fabulous salon!! Shae at platinum is amazing, very professional and a great eye for detail. My hair has never been so healthy and i always have great outcomes, whether it be the same style or when you need something a little special. The whole team is so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Shay is awesome. She fixed my fringe that I had got done at a previous place, they completely hacked my hair and Shay fixed it. Highly recommend.Every time I go shay is so lovely and easy toTalk to.

I love going to Platinum Hair at Tweed the girls are lovely and look after you. Even when you haven’t been for a while they make you feel like you’re an old friend. The banter between the girls is great. I would never go anywhere else as I found the best stylist in Shay. Thanks Ladies!

Kelsey is my regular hairdresser now and she spent a good 20 minutes genuinely listening to me about what I wanted done with my hair. She explained how the desired outcome could be achieved. She is outgoing, bubbly and very kindhearted.I’m a fairly nervous , fussy customer butI wouldn’t go anywhere else ! You can trust your money is well spent and you will come out feeling pleased with the result.I know I left the salon feeling great about my hair, confident and like a queen .And the staff are caring and respectful to each other and their customers.Dana

This was the worst hairdressing experience I have ever experienced. I went in for a balayage and trim. My regular hairdresser and I had been working to build strength in my hair as I’m normally a bleach blonde. There was brown over bleached hair. My hairdresser was late, rude and not well. I told her all my hair history. She put a full head of foils in over bleached hair and aggressively cut my hair without asking. I went home and cried all day after. I had to go to my normal hairdresser the next day and spend all day fixing it. This is the nice photo provided in this review. The shocking part is, that when I went to ask for a refund or even an apology the owner got aggressive and so did the hairdresser. A hairdresser has a duty of care to the client and this was not upheld. They also claimed I lied I was blonde and didn’t disclose this. I have been a blonde my whole life and only brown for 10 months. I couldn’t believe they would fight back at a customer. The owner refused to refund and also refused to recognise there was even an issue. Shocking customer service and outcome. My hair is enough proof in these terrible photos below. It was SHOCKING. The right way to deal with this would have been an apology and being more understanding plus also offering a refund like my longtime hairdresser suggested. It cost me over $400 to fix my hair on top of this. Now I can’t touch my hair for months and have been using keratin treatment to try and fix it. After a whole year of hair care it was ruined in one day. I would not recommend this salon one bit. Unprofessional.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Mel who done an amazing job on my hair, Mel and all the staff were so lovely and kind. I was offered a coffee as soon as I was seated and also again half way though my visit. It was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had in a salon.Thank you again Mel for making this experience wonderful!

My daughter just came home from this place with her hair cut that cost her $65 for it too be longer on one side than the other , and what made it worse was it was at the front , wt , who did this cut ? a child of 2 ? Perhaps !!!
