National Hockey Super League

A below par ice hockey league played in public disco ice skating rinks. No toughness , no good face offs . For Australia to make it to the Olympics this league needs serious looking at . Poor athletes compared to other hockey leagues

Cheers to the inaugural nhsl league season. Friday nights at the Adelaide ice arena have never seen this much action. Full grandstands, two viewing bars that sell out every Friday night and for those who miss out on a ticket the ability to watch from the ice as they skate. Perhaps a little unusual in set up for some but for others we see it as moving forward in a very exciting direction. The sport was overdue for this facelift and I’m so glad Adelaide took the leap and started it. A great atmosphere and so much fun! You don’t need to know anything about the sport but guaranteed five minutes in to your first game you will be hooked. Whilst the facilities are ageing a little the new management is moving mountains to rectify and spruce up this Adelaide institution. Ticket prices are cheap and the atmosphere is electric. Well worth the visit and your support.
