As my wife has just posted, I will reiterate what a great job vmr Raby Bay has done in getting our new boat to our pontoon. After 10 hours of motoring with newly serviced engines, both overheated within 2 hours of each other within 5 nm of the entrance to Raby Bay. The response was excellent, the tow was really well done considering a 4 tonne Cat was towing 13 tonnes of boat. Once at the entrance they had to come along side so they could steer us through the canals. The wind got up and in choppy conditions they secured their boat to ours. The weight differential was extreme in windy conditions and a lot could have gone wrong going through the canals. A big high 5 to Carson and his team for getting our new boat back safely. Knowing they are all volunteers, they did an amazing job and would highly recommend their services and membership to other boaties in the area.

Great group of volunteers. Can the website be updated so boaties can log on and off online. ( boat owner info, boat pics, rego, numbers on board, details of journey & eta back etc). Cheers Stuart

Dad and myself are both relatively inexperienced fishing and boating enthusiasts. You can imagine how we got a bit nervous when our boat decided to break down in the middle of the sea! Luckily, VMR Raby Bay came to our rescue. Gary on the phone was particularly patient with us - we gave him the wrong rego, the wrong hull colour, the wrong coordinates. He was able to problem solve and navigate (pun intended) through all the noise and managed to find us within 25 minutes! The speed of these guys are amazing and we couldn't thank them enough for saving the day. Go guys! You have done our community proud with a great cause.
