We are experiencing such terrible after sales service from King after purchasing a premium lounge setting. Being long-term customers of King and previously happy with their products, we couldn’t be more disappointed with the sub-standard quality of products received and the frustrating customer service, which effectively is just no communication at all.

Similar to others, after sales service is disappointing and so is the quality of the product purchased (Jasper lounge package purchased 2017). Admittedly, I contacted customer support with a fault outside of its warranty. The fault is the glue that holds the feather topper to the foam cushion has dissolved resulting in the feather topper bunching which is both uncomfortable and unsightly. Whilst acknowledging that the product is out of warranty, I did expect a lot more from a piece of King furniture than to have something as basic as glue failing. Not faulting service as a result of the out of warranty element but quality is a disappointment for something so expensive.

David KING has built an incredible culture at Fortitude Valley...what more would you want!!! They cross their T's and dot their I's...the multiple horrible reviews can't be right!!! My sofu arrives in 8 weeks, a bright future for this outfit. Will be back for more when my sofa arrives on time. Oh thankyou KING furniture

The worst after sales service ever. King has been doing everything possible to delay the process and avoid honoring the repair of a product that is within warranty. Overpriced products with poor service if any issues. - see you have now responded with the same generic response as others….. I have been trying to resolve the matter for over 6 months. Your service team making up new reasons as they go along as to why this would not be covered under our warranty. It’s the worst service I’ve ever seen. The reference number is 149269 for you to investigate and rectify (which I doubt given the poor service experienced to date)

Update: Sofa wasn't delivered on date that had been confirmed due to what I'm told was a 'glitch'. Three months since full payment, still no sofa. What a joke. Update: have finally got through to be told the earliest the product can be delivered or collected is mid to late January, a full two months since I paid the final amount. I would never, ever buy from King again. What a joke of a company. Original: Have spent more than four hours over two weeks trying to speak with someone to arrange delivery of a sofa I paid for weeks ago. Every time I call i just sit on hold for over an hour until I get cut off, or give up. Can't take calls through the day when it's convenient for them and they aren't replying to chat or email options. This has to be the worst customer service of any company I've dealt with. Appalling given the amount of money spent.

Disappointing experience, 2 weeks ago we thought buying a showroom display sofa should be a straightforward process and we were informed it would be delivered the following week. The day before expected delivery we have not received any information on when the delivery would come, so we called and to our surprise our sofa delivery has not been placed at all!! Then the staff on phone reassured delivery will be arranged in the coming Friday and we should receive notice during weekend. But then again nothing came in and we called the dispatch team today and once again we were being told the delivery for this Friday still not confirmed!!! I'm not sure what kind of customer experience this is, that we have to keep chasing and chasing to get our item delivered.

This review is for a King Living online, not the Fortitude Valley store who I have not dealt with except to seek help in this miserable shopping experience.I wanted a Jasper for more than a decade and could finally afford one. It arrived, after a very long wait, badly damaged and poorly constructed. When we tried to speak with the online staff to let them know we became sucked into the most dementing loop of unanswered phone calls and emails, followed by bursts of friendly but ultimately fruitless help from a manager on instagram, followed by nothing being actually solved and nobody calling us back. We were told they would rebuild the sofa in the last phone call (a week ago), but the sales person got off the phone so fast we had no chance to confirm details. When we tried to confirm details before we absolutely decided if we would go down that path or a full refund, we were completely ignored. We have no idea what is happening. King Living have our money firmly secured in the bank and we have a very disappointing sofa and the dread of having to keep chasing their evasive online customer service staff. We have already spent far too much time on this. The whole thing feels like a bait and switch operation. It's weeks now and nothing is resolved. Never again.

If I could give these guys zero, I would. Purchased a suite and coffee table. Sales team are very slick but there is no (zero) integration with the back end that deals with delivery. Do not buy from these guys. They have no interest in delivering what they sell. Our experience is a 6 month delay and then we get a call out of nowhere saying they are 30 minutes away. Do not trust these people - they lie as a natural feature!

Terrible experienceOrder a $15,000 Jasper and was told 4 months and now at 7 months, they contacted us and asked for full payment so it can be delivered. After receipting the full payment they then advised that components are missing.So we have had the sofa delivered with an entire platform and chair section missing, how unethical to take full payment before telling us we only have 70% of the product?No reply to request a partial refund until the remainder is available. I thought paying for a premium product would also give us premium service.Never again
