Had my bike serviced there over a year ago, and it came back better than new. Gears adjusted correctly, spokes tightened, and cables rerouted. A pity he doesn't look after average bikes any more, but I suppose that's the price of popularity.

I Highly recommend this bike mechanic, David is very friendly and an expert in his field.He provides a fast turnaround and his prices are more than reasonable, if you're reading this review, take my advice and see him as opposed to one of the larger chain stores, support the independents.

David obviously knows his bikes he diagnosed my sons gears problem within 5 seconds before my son was able to tell him what the problem. Which then was expertly fiex with minimum of fuss within days a good price will Def see David if any other bike problems arise nil hesitation to recommend David's professional service thank you very for fixing my son's bike to better than it has Ever been!

David was really professional and fast. He's very kind to fix up my broken spoke immediately as I wasn't from this part of the town. I had visited other big bike shops and they just tell me it's not a easy task to change the spoke and its going to take a couple of days.

Cannot fault David, just fantastic everytime. I've used others in the past and they don't compare. David has been the ONLY one to service the bike to a standard that was better than when I first took it home from the bike shop - I just accepted the noise, poor roll and other idiosyncrasies as part of the brand/type - it's 3 years old now and I still love riding it!

I was after the brakes checked out on my bike and a service of required. Dave fixed up the brakes and determined a service wasn't required so just did a few adjustments. I was really happy with the work, price and not being upsold" anything!"

We are so happy with Dave’s work, he looks after our 5 bikes and always goes the extra mile. We usually present him with a challenge as our bikes are a little different then the norm, but nothing is too much trouble. Dave’s prices are very reasonable and workmanship is first class. He always explains to us what work he has undertaken on the bikes and answers our numerous questions. If you are looking for an excellent knowledgeable bike mechanic you can’t go past the Bike Knack.
