The Remington Orange

5 stars: for the actual hotel experience, newly fitted out large rooms, excellent.1 star: for the Continental Breakfast, which, even at its $5 special price, is not worth the time, as does not inclide anything appealing, mostly consisting of pastries backed this month. It appears to have been designed to entice customers into paying extra for items they might actually like to eat, such as omlette, sausages, bacon, etc., all of which are not included .Also, the Continental Breakfast is served in a very unhygenic way, there are no glass screens (or lids) over buffet tables, with customers leaning, breathing and sneezing all over the shared plates.

15 mins to the City CentreNew building, but some defectsHad issues with Hot Water in the first room, they moved us to another room. Bathroom fan was not working in the 2nd room.Breakfast does not include hot food! You need to order & pay for hot food. Management of Restaurants over weekend Breakfast is so bad.

I love everything about The Remington in Orange! Of utmost importance is room cleanliness, and that is what we received. My husband left his arm brace in the room, but the staff had no trouble retrieving and holding it for us until we could pick it up on our way back the following week.

I don't like Orange much, but lovely room. Expensive. Clean and handy. Breakfast buffet. Restaurant for dinner (but we went out for Chinese) thought they would be too expensive for us, but seeing the menu at breakfast, they weren't too bad prices. Very comfortable. Not too bad on the noise scale (neighbours slamming doors and talking in halls echoes into the room. Ridiculously expensive mini bar prices. Wine was reasonable priced, but I'm not sure if it's local as it's labelled for the hotel. Overall, I would recommend it highly.

We enjoyed our experience a lot. Clean and big rooms, friendly reception service and a better than average hotel gym. It is 5 minutes drive to town.Breakfast is good, got the basics and options to order.TV's got an easy to use casting system and room is quiet (as it is a bit out of town and far from road).We would recommend.

Good hotel just outside of Orange. Excellent rooms and facilities with very friendly staff. Apparently only two years old.

The hotel is reasonably new, so everything is nice and clean. All rooms are huge with comfortable beds. I would stay there againBut, breakfast included meant some dry"

Suggested that I stayed here by my company and wasn’t disappointed. The rooms are perfect, the dinner is on another level and the staff made everything very easy & enjoyable. Will be staying here when I’m next in the area

Very pleasant staff. Location - handy to hospital, otherwise remote and nowhere to walk on a Sunday morning. We found the reception area small and our room austere. Doors opening and closing off corridor quite noisy, as well as conversation of other guests as they walked along corridor A microwave in room would have been useful. We consider it was overpriced.

Enjoyed our recent stay at Remington, it was a good room size for the double we booked for us 2 adults and 2 kids. Clean and good amenities, I love Appelles.Location is across from the hospital & 7 min drive from the main area in townBreakfast was included for us, it was okay, it’s continental with few options, pastries, bread, cheese, cold cuts meats, juice, tea, cereal and fruit. If you had to add on I’d probably recommend checking out the local cafes.The only negative is that the handle on our shower fell off and couldn’t be fixed whilst there (we stayed only one night) and breakfast could be kept a little tidier and have more plates.
