Adelaide Pet Doors

Previously we had a dog door installed by these guys, and we were happy with the service, the product and the price. However, there was an integrity issue conducted by the business owner. My partner was quoted via email $395.00 for a large dog door for our husky, she trusted that quote based on their knowledge and experience that it would be the correct door. Upon the installation team rocking up to install the dog door, it was found the large size door wouldn't be big enough. So it was upgraded to a XL dog door.At the cost of $120.00 extra. The problem here, is that my partner was not informed that a larger door may be needed via the original email correspondence and as a result it came as a shock having to pay that extra money on the day of installation, when the quote was for $395.00 not $520.00.I emailed the business regarding this matter as I wasn't home at the time of the installation. He explained the scenario from his end, but didn't take any form of accountability. When I replied to reiterate where he went wrong, he didn't reply.As a result, 5 stars has become 3 stars as my rating. I hope he did learn from this experience and now offer fair warning to future customers, that it may cost more than the quoted price if the dog is larger than estimated.

Friendly and professional service. Michael got back in 30 minutes with a quote. Fred installed doggy door a couple of weeks later. Worth every cent. Our dog loves his independence. Brilliant job, can't praise you enough.

Fred was highly reliable, did exactly what he said he would do, and got it done when he said he would. He cleaned up after installing the pet door and talked to us about teaching our 6 & 10 (human years) old pups how to use the door. The six year old got it the next day, with ten year old almost there on day 3! would highly recommend Fred, who is trustworthy, friendly and knows his products and business.

I recently had a large size pig in mud (wood and security) dog door installed by Fred. His communication from my initial query to organising an install date was great. He arrived on time, installed the door with no fuss, cleaned up after himself and was very friendly to deal with. The door looks fantastic and my two dogs got used to it and started using it the same day. Price was reasonable as well. Very happy with service and quality from Adelaide Pet Doors!
