I've had several things done at Autoboss over a 15 year period, and found them to honeast and reliable. They never over charge and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that your happy. Good quality parts used with extensive mechanical knowledge. Cant go wrong with Autoboss.

Honest, friendly and professional. I had a nightmare with other mechanics in Moe, my issue was not fixed after $1400 so I went to Auto Boss instead.Auto Boss fixed my car for $200 after diagnosing the issue with me, they really saved me! Thanks guys!

I had my white Hyundai hatchback serviced at Auto Boss in Moe. A timing belt kit, 1x rocket cover gasket and 4x spark plugs including labour all costs came to $510.00. After the motor was washed down only 1x oil leak was determined. After the service, the oil leak became worse and I returned to Auto Boss twice to rectify the problem. The owner offered to change the rocket cover gasket again which I gave permission but this did not solve the oil leak. I took the car to Cammy’s in Moore Street for a second look see and what they found was a twisted rocket cover gasket that was fitted haphazardly. I went back to Auto Boss to confront the owner and he reimbursed me $100. I guess I should be thankful, when really all we want is good quality workmanship. Not worth the hassle or heartache, avoid at all costs.

Was using this mechanic regularly for servicing and repairs. Had a couple of instances where I wasn't overly happy - such as asking them to check the brakes as the warning light had appeared on the dash. They told me the brakes were fine and just needed brake fluid. 2 months later, it was booked in for a service, brake warning light was on the dash again. Asked them to check them again and they were worn metal to metal all of a sudden.Last time I was there, I had to have my car towed as the drive belt broke. They replaced the belt and pulleys and rang to say my car was ready to pick up...but was making a bit" of noise. When asked if it was a 'bad' sound

I took our car to Auto Boss when we had transmission issues, our car was going into limp mode on intermittent basis. Colin had our vehicle for four weeks telling us at times that he was waiting for parts needed to repair our Vehicle, On the 4th week we had to confront Colin to get our Vehicle back asking that he return it on a certain date (after he had promised us on several occasions that we could pick up the vehicle only to inform us on the day that it was not ready).He did, return it on that date, telling us that he had completed the work and that our Vehicle was in working order charging us in total $2300 (over 2 invoices and 4 weeks). The following day the car broke down in the Melbourne CBD leaving my wife stranded at 11pm.We contacted a Transmission specialist in Suburban Melbourne and had our vehicle towed there the following day. We received a call from them the following day explaining the issues with our transmission, we were shocked to hear that our transmission had suffered a catastrophic failure that required a complete rebuild.We explained that we had just had it rebuilt, the reply to that statement included that's not possible ".I have decided to write this review in the absence of a final tax invoice from Auto boss detailing the work that Colin had completed.Colin the Proprietor of Auto boss refused to supply us an Invoice after we had demanded a refund which we received on the second invoice for a total $850.If we had that final Invoice I would instead be taking legal action to recover the costs of repairing the transmission $4300 as well as the several 000's dollars that we incurred over the four-week period on trains to Melbourne (my wife works in the CBD) and taxis to the train station and home approx. 375.00 per week.I do not understand why Colin (Auto Boss) had our Vehicle for 4 (four) weeks nor do I understand why he did not complete the work that he insisted he had done

Great mechanic! We had some car trouble on the freeway and pulled in to town. A quick Google search led us to Auto Boss. The guys there were fantastic, found the problem straight away and sent someone to go pick a part up for us immediately. Within an hour we were back on the road with the car fixed. Very honest and reasonably priced. Thanks again guys!
