I purchased a few shirts online and need to returned 2 of them. Took them back to the new Hornsby Westfield store and I checked the return policy online beforehand to make sure I can do this. Walked into the shop at 4.30pm on Monday and there was only one customer and one staff. The lady saw me walking in and just kind of avoiding eye contact without any greetings of course. Fair enough it seems she was the only one staff, I waited for 5 minutes. When she got to know I would like to return online order, she said I probably can't do it even without checking. I told her I did the homework and the return policy clearly says I can. Then she asked I did I pay for my order. I told her PayPal. Then she said I can't do it because there is no option for paypal refund. I told her I had brought the same card which is linked to my paypal account. She was still very reluctant to process it. I was very certain and told her I have never had any problem with it. She said you can try. Even though the refund had been processed successfully via the merchant, she pointed to the refund receipt and said you see it says VISA instead of paypal. I mean SERIOUSLY??? Have you ever seen card payment says PayPal/afterpay/zippay??? Of course there is no any greeting or polite words during the whole process even after I said Thank You after everything.
