About the Business
Bowen Water Tank Art | Bowen is a beautiful town on the east coast of north Queensland. It has two water tanks that were painted by well known mural artists, Phantast Cultural Music and Arts Association with the help of the local community. They were completed in September of 2018.

These are in Bowen Queensland and are magnificent. Just difficult to get photos of all of them and without the fences

A nice touch to the hill, its the top half of the march of the ju ju trail taking in the water tank and other observation points on the hill.

Worth a look. Even better when a council worker lets you in the fenced area. Detailed artwork around the bottom of the tanks that you won't see from outside.

Gorgeous artwork on these twin water towers in Bowen. Access isn't the best but they were built long before it was decided to add murals to them :)

We loved these but hated that we couldn't get close enough to see all of it :( maybe we missed something...Absolutely stunning artwork and it was such a nice view coming into town

Very interesting murals. One of the main reasons we did a day trip to Bowen. Once we arrived, we noticed a large fence blocking uninterupted views of the murals meaning our pictures were not great. I think there should be better access to the murals for tourists (maybe 9am-5pm) or something like that. Appreciate they may be destroyed by overnight anti-social behaviour
