I can’t give a zero, so sadly I have to give a 1 star rating. Do NOT under any circumstances hire this man. He will not quote on the job lot, but will start with a guarantee of a set number of hours. Then your pain begins … He will never turn up on time, will blame you for everything, frustrate and abuse your understanding neighbours, over-bill you for more than double the amount of hours, and then when you dispute it, threaten you with court action! In the meantime, he has not listened to what you needed done to your backyard, which now looks nothing like you asked for and needs to be fixed! In addition, his machines are constantly breaking down. Do yourself a favour: Please please please look elsewhere!I hope this helps!

Totally unscrupulous and unreliable. Laurence is dishonest in recording his work times, does not keep to his word in terms of turning up for work, and the equipments are forever breaking down n needing maintenance. And the hours spent fixing it will be part of the working hours too!He would call at 6.30 am saying he's left the depot and on the way for work and then up 3 hours later and if no one checks, he would claim those hours as part of his working hours.Whatever happens is never his fault, as he would blame everything on everyone but himself. Would never recommend this guy and would never use him ever again.

My wife and I had the worst experience dealing with this company. Spoke with Laurence (owner) who advises that he has extensive experience with house demolition of an extensive fire damaged house, provided him with the property address and advised him that there was asbestos at the property given the age of the house. He provided me with a quote to commence work. I signed the quote and paid the deposit to commence work when everything started to unravel.1) He didn't have a clue how to remove the asbestos safely resulting in complaints from neighbours and Qld workplace health and safety advising him to stop work (eg attempting to remove asbestos sheets that was barely supporting the roof of the house, failure to arrange independent asbestos air monitoring etc). Qld workplace health and safety provided him with recommendations in order to proceed.2) He did not have the appropriate licence to complete the task or arrange appropriate supervisors to complete the task to comply with regulations3) Did not know the difference between friable and non-friable asbestos - he advised me that he had seen the property to make an informed quote4) I arranged a occupational hygienist report to make recommendations for the safe demolition of a friable fire damaged property - Laurence tried to undermine the report recommendations which resulted in Qld workplace health and safety having to order him to stop work for not complying with Qld workplace health and safety and the Occupational hygienist report recommendations.4) His equipment were not in the condition to complete the task safely5) Attempted to commenced work on second occasion and again did not complying with Qld workplace health and safety regulations ( eg appropriate PPE, ensure the area was watered, have the appropriate supervisors, independent asbestos monitoring etc), causing our neighbours to be alarmed for their health. Laurence blamed increased cost for not complying with the relevant regulations and thought that the neighbours were being unreasonable.6) Hadn't arranged for the appropriate disposal of the asbestos material despite the quote stating that all asbestos material was to be removed. I was asked to ring around dump sites that would take asbestos.7) Provided excuses and blamed others for his own incompetence (eg compliance regulators being to unreasonable, not arranging disposal of asbestos material, neighbours concerns etc)7) Change the quote 1 days prior to his third attempt of demolishing the house (quote was over three times the initial quote) and demanded that we sign the contract or else he will take us to court. We refused to sign the amended quote.8) Laurence threaten to take us to court for refusing to sign the new quote and pay him $40000 in damages. He was unable to complete any of the task from the first quote9) Threaten to put a stop work injunction to prevent future demolition company from completing demolition work. The delay has resulted in my wife and I wasting time and money (took over 6 months of delays and excuses). I would like to warn other people about the dishonestly and unprofessional behaviour of this company and its owners. Please do yourself a favour and avoid this company. Laurence is big on excuses and likes to blame others for his failings. I made a complaint to Fair Trade Qld to inform them of Laurence's unprofessional actions, change of contract and threats.I highly recommend Landman Demolition instead. They were honest, professional, value for money, and efficient. Kalyn and the team were able to get the work completed within 1-2 months (delay was due to Christmas closures) of signing the contract and work was completed in 3 days.Again, I would like to warn everyone to avoid dealing with Laurence and Action Plant Hire Demolition Limited.
