Swordfish Brewing
Awesome place, right on the river front in Sussex Inlet. The Brewery is still experiencing teething problems but otherwise it is an awesome place to eat and have a quiet drink. It's a welcoming addition to the town.

Wow Wow Wow Wow WowWow - Premium Lager best beer I ever tastedWow - Calamari crisp outside, tender insideWow - Seating inside comfy, outside closer to viewWow - River view amazingWow - Staff friendly, informative and helpfulWe first dropped in for lunch. It was so good we came back that night for dinner too.All locals should embrace this place. Travellers should flock here to taste just how good life can be.SB&R is the BEST thing that has happened to Sussex in the last 10 years. Shops have been closing and changing hands a lot lately and not necessarily for the better. This place opens the town up to a new era like a breath of fresh air.Thank you.11/10

Stumbled across this little gem in Sussex Inlet. Beautiful spot overlooking the gorgeous inlet. Shared a dozen Sydney rock oysters lightly dressed with lemonicello and black pepper! Fab combo. And a lovely fresh prawn pizza with an amazing chewy crusty pizza dough. Staff friendly, service was good and food was really prompt for Friday lunchtime. Well done Swordfish for giving Sussex Inlet a little boost.

My family and I came here for lunch on my birthday on NYE. Was so nice to see a place so new and modern with great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. I had the apple cider which was yum and my hubby had the premium dry. We had pizzas which were delicious and my daugther even got to order hers gluten free. Wie will definitely be back when back in Sussex Inlet to try other things on your menu. Good luck to your new business, good to see some competition, well done .

Wow! This place was a surprise. Great staff, great food (try the wings!), good selection of beers brewed in house and some guests on tap too. We arrived shortly after opening and had our pick of the tables, there is indoor, outdoor with shade, and outdoor for those with dogs. I can see this place becoming so popular you will need to make a reservation. Well done to all involved, I'm already planning my next visit!

The best place to grab a beer in Sussex Inlet! Food was great - fish of the day was grilled barramundi which was delicious. Beers are top notch. And the place is dog friendly. All boxes ticked!

Puff bread was delicious, as was their pizza (had the brisket one)! Their Japanese fried chicken was a bit burnt and overcooked though. Plus a bit expensive, $18 for 4 pieces of chicken (think size of a chicken tender). However, overall still quite a good experience and their staff were lovely

Glad to see the old Sailfish club has a new life and I’m pleased to report that the new version is great and a breath of fresh air for Sussex Inlet locals and visitors like me. The outdoor area is a standout with plenty of big tables and on the day we visited it was buzzing with people. There’s an interesting selection of craft beers on offer plus a variety of other drinks to suit all tastes. We didn’t eat but the menu looks good with seafood and pizzas and the staff are all working away providing excellent service. Look forward to seeing the brewing operation up and running and sampling the results.
