Had the best chips ever yesterday from slippery mackerel, all out guests agreed edthey were a standout . Only getting chips from here now as majority geelong / surfcoast area fish n chips are poxy rubbish compared to these :)

Foods amazing and I’m never disappointed, but I’m always waiting 15-20 minutes later than the time I’m told it will be ready which is quite annoying and most recently my small chips and gravy went to a mini chips and gravy

Absolutely delicious fish and chips. The price is really really good. Been here a thousand times before and will happily go a thousand times again. You absolutely have to go here if you haven’t been before!!!

Very good fish and chips! Ate here twice during my visit to Australia, you always get more than you order. Good value for money and good quality food! Fish is tasty and the chips are crunchy. Tip: ask for chicken salt on your chips!

Their flake, chips, & potato cakes are amazing, cannot be improved on. The batter they use comes out super crunchy and light + the chips are always crunchy & they're usually generous. Easy 5 stars for these items. I've tried the chicken souvlaki + schnitzel burger. They're fairly good - maybe 3 - 3.5 stars for these items. Overall, a tad pricier then other F&C shops but the store itself + customer service is top notch. Very decent especially if you just keep it simple.Update: changed from 4 to 5 stars as they've changed their popcorn chicken recipe and it is incredible. You get this sauce with it which I think is Ranch, or something like that. Not sure what it is but it's really good.

At what point does it become no longer worth the wait? Ordered a few times online, and the time they tell you the order will be ready is NEVER close to the actual time it's ready. I WILL NEVER be back.The food has gotten so disappointing, something is always missing or wrong with the order, no apologies, no compensation. Chucking in an extra potato cake doesn't gloss over how average this place has become.
