Worst steak and pizza in the whole of Australia. Ordered Medium doneness. See the third photo for reference. It was so oily, they probably dropped it in the deep fryer.The scotch fillet I ordered was served well done. They were definitely trying hard for a compliment. It was so tough and dry, you could slap someone with it and knock that said person out. Paid 41 for this and 19 for pizza.Also 6 bucks for carton apple juice is a rip off. For that price point and cup size, it should've been freshly juiced apple.Stars for the warm service tho! Ladies and the young dude deserves 5 stars!

Delicious food and amazing service ! We seated inside the restaurant. We decided to order the garlic bread and it was the best that we ever ate, so fresh ! I had the margharita pizza and the dough was excellent, well garnished. My friends had the pasta with pesto and spinach, the rice and the fresh prawns, and a red meat with chips. It was hard from us to finish our plates but it was absolutely delicious. The staff is lovely and very kind. We’ll definitely be back ! Thank you for having us !

We stopped here for a late lunch during a visit to the region. Very happy with the food and down to earth feel of the cafe. My partner loved the shredded lamb.Glad we went with the normal sized dishes as I can only imagine the ribs etc are huge portions!Terrific service - very friendly staff.

What a great find in the Yarra Valley, the locals have known for many years. The Dixon Creek Bar & Grill is Famous for their grill, especially steaks and ribs, and now I know why. The ribs are amazing and I can’t wait to go back and try their steak and old school rissoles. The service is friendly and the food is quick to arrive. Paired with some local, small boutique wines, lunch was amazing.

Humongous portions with great taste for all you carnivores...The Mixed Grill is their signature huge serving of most of their meats. The fries are very crispy and also have large portions.

Wow! What an absolutely amazing experience, this place is a must on your list !We had such an amazing experience here from start to finish, we were 10 people and we booked in advance, a very handy tip from one of my friends that regularly comes here.We tried a couple Tbone steaks and rump steak all cooked to perfection at medium rare! When the resturant where you are eating at can nail 8 steaks out 8 from one table , I call that genuine professionalism at its finest.All the kids had kids meals which were very generous portions, not to mention some extra complimentary ice creams for some of the kids.Mark one of the owners/chef brought out our steaks such a polite humble man good to see at such position he is still serving throughout the resturant and interacting with the patrons asking questions and just having general conversations.I took his 1st selfie with him when he told me cooked our steaks, so be sure to say hello to Mark when he brings your mouth watering steak.All the staff were very polite and attentive, the place itself was extremely clean throughout with restrooms and a drink bar at your convenience, there's ample parking opportunities also.We will definitely be back another day when we revisit the country side again but this time we will try your pizzas as we've heard they're just as good as your signature dishes and steaks.Overall a very nice and cozy family restaurant, great for family and friends especially for a special occasion.Keep up the great work guys........

Went here for lunch during the long weekend. It was packed! I ordered the pork ribs which were nice. Friends ordered the beef ribs which were huge (and also tasty!). Will be back to try other items on the menu.

Had a great lunch here. The lamb chops were fantastic and the chips were some of the best I've had during my trip; really crispy and not too oily or salty. Shrimp pasta was excellent as well; big, juicy shrimp.

Nice place for a casual meal. Very tasty food and well presented. The rump steak was very tender and cooked to perfection. Very reasonable prices. The specials they have are even better value so it's worth checking their website before booking. Highly recommended.
