Nice Flinders Ranges Scenic spot for some pictures and a great view on to the range best time to visit in the morning till mid day as the sun highlights the range.

Good spot for sunrise and sunset which is close to the resort. It also provides a good view watching the mountain turning red

We wanted to stop anyway, the Wilpena Creek crossing is quite scenic.The Cazneaux tree is really old and quite small for it's age.

Pretty amazing how old these gum trees are, compared to the original photo taken by Cazneaux, the amount of years passed has not aged this tree drastically but continues to grow older each year.

Great place to take photos of the tree with the Rangers at the backdrop. There are multiple angles available for a good photo and if lucky w greater one like the one took by Harold Cazneaux himself :)) definitely go in the morning or before sunset for a good photo

Good enough spot to stop if kids need to stretch the legs, if your got an interest in art and the history of this tree and the painting it may be worth the stop otherwise we thought it was just a nice road side stop.
