Came promptly to measure for a new shower screen, waited five weeks for a quote. I rang him back & was promised the quote later that day. Rang again a week later, still nothing. Rang twice this week & was told i would have a quote within an hour & still no quote. If you want to be frustrated and have your time wasted then go with Southern Glass. If its too much trouble to provide a quote or your too busy then why bother to measure in the first place?

Workmanship is appalling. I ordered two small bathroom cabinet glass replacements. 10 days later I asked where they were to be told they were ready in the morning. Picked up the mirrors but on installing in the cabinet it was clear the cutting roller was dirty and marked the length and width of the mirror.Returned, glazier acknowledged the fault and said they would be remade.Picked up next morning, appeared ok with regards to scratch but installing noticed a small scratch but the finger grips are different sizes.Edges were not sanded either.Go somewhere else.

I have rung Duane repeatedly, asking him to please email me the receipt for my payment for the temporary window glass he installed after the storm in Adelaide just over a month ago, so I can lodge my insurance claim.I get a different story every time I ring, and no email showing proof of payment for the $608.00.Very disappointed, as this is no way to run a business.I wish I'd read all these negative reviews before I called him.

Went here to save my shelves that were made to the wrong size and he managed to grind them down to the perfect size and they fit my cabinet perfectly. Thank you very much.Only issue is he never let me know when they were completed, I had to call and check.

Got a good quote and fast measure up for a kitchen splashback in September 2021 was told install date October never happened and no phone call. I thought id give the benefit of the doubt knowing the busy period was coming up. So 4 months of being strung along and a dozen phone calls not returned being told the glass was here being painted etc. Had to can the job and go with someone else because he simply could not deliver. Duane lacks basic customer service and business management skills to be considered a worthy recommendation.

Came out and quoted and gave me a price which I accepted. Told 2 weeks. Went out of way to go into office twice to pick up beading but they hadn’t ordered it. It’s now been 4 months since I placed the order and have never heard from them. So glad I didn’t pay a deposit. Steer clear.

Put in a call to obtain a quote. Was given a quote over the phone but when he came out, the price increased by $150 which I could understand given complexities with quoting over the phone. I have since tried on numerous occasions to call to place the order for the glass panel however after several calls being put in, not one of them has been returned. Given the reviews here, it seems as though it is a regular occurrence. Disappointing when you try and support local business.

Came out promptly, looked at the job and told me no problem, he'd call the next day with a quote.That was over three weeks ago. I think I can safely assume by now he doesn't ever plan on calling me back. Seems like a common story judging from his past reviews. My advice is don't waste your time. Look for a glazier more reliable.

We are extremely disappointed with the service which does not exist at Southern Glass & Glazing Adelaide Pty Ltd. We had ordered mirror tiles waited for two weeks after numerous telephone calls that went to voice mail and no return calls in the response to the voice mails. My partner went into the office and gave them the measurements on a diagram that the tiles had to be cut down too. A diagram with measurements. Guess what we collected and paid for the tiles brought them home and they were the wrong size. We returned them and we were told that we would have to pay an extra $30 bearing in mind it was not our fault. However, on collection we were told that we had to pay $90 fortunately my partner in error had not taken his credit card with him.The tiles were given to him and he was told to phone as soon as he got home with his credit card details. We will wait and see if we get a response from this.
