The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly and the history of the house, those that lived in it and the things they kept and preserved are very interesting.

Interesting house which has been in the one family since the 1880s, had lots of original furnishings. Our guide was very enthusiastic, knew a great deal about the house and greatly enhanced the experience.

My visit to this lovely and loved old family home was a walk down memory lane. So much of the memorabilia was similar to items from my early childhood and heirlooms still in my family. Nicole was a wonderful guide and the tour was fascinating. Thank-you so much for this delightful experience.

Historical house. The tour went on to discuss the family and the origins of the house. It is one of a few places that the house has been kept to its authenticate of the time period. It is interesting to see how the house has not changed for at least a few generations and knowing how people lived during those times.

Such a gorgeous piece of history that has been maintained. I went when I was a child in grade 1, the things you can learn when you experience it in real life really stick with you forever. knowledgeable guides.

Fantastic old house donated as a museum with a treasure trove of 100 years of original contents, furniture, clothing, crockery, instruments etc. The original owners were significant settlers off the area. Can only visit on a Saturday, and see the interior by guided tour only

We had an amazing experience here. We were lead around the grounds and throughout the house by a very knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot about the history of the house and surrounding area. This is definitely worth a tour if you're in the area, or passing through town. Our tour took around 1 hour 45 mins. It can be a lot quicker depending on how many questions you ask.
