SK Bollywood Dance Company

We were having our Hindu wedding and reception overseas and wanted to do a couple’s dance at the reception. We specifically wanted to do a medley of both a western song and a Tamil song, to reflect our mixed heritage. We connected with Shaleen after finding her page on Instagram and we are so happy that we did! She had a background in various styles of dance, which suited what we wanted perfectly.Even though we only had under a month to our wedding festivities, Shaleen was able to choreograph, teach and guide us throughout the process. We did our first lesson in person in Sydney and subsequent lessons via Skype while we were overseas. She was absolutely patient with us especially as we both do not have any dance experience! We had so much fun with the tailored dance steps and ended up having an absolute ball performing our couples’ dance in front of all our guests. Thank you!
