We had an issue with our air conditioner over the Christmas period, I rang Bonnaire on the first day back in the New Year expecting to have a long wait for the repairs but it was fixed in 3 days, great service.

We’ve used them a couple of times now, over the years, Peter has always been thorough and professional.The only downside is the “notification”, as to when you can expect your service to occur, the sms (for us) arrived at 7am on the day of our service, this made it difficult to plan ahead. It would be great to know the afternoon/ before close of business, so you can make any adjustments to the following day. Although we booked ahead, we didn’t know an approximate time of arrival until the last minute, the inconvenience was knowing I couldn’t assist our daughter with grandchildren and a specialist appointment.

I found them very expensive. Had to pay $449 upfront before they would even come out. This was for a service call on my evaporative cooling unit and if any parts were needed I would pay extra. On the day when he did the service I was told it needed a new motor (as it had seized) so had to pay a further $482.71 Not happy I had to pay upfront & thought $932 excessive.

Had problems with the pump and part from day 1 but deducted air-conditioning evaporative is still under warrant for 7 years. Had the air con for 4 years. Didn't work the first time in summer the pump part was broken, happened again the next 2 years then spoke to manager Michael who was fabulous, and got the electrician, technical guy to come out and put a brand new pump in.Air con is working fabulous now and cheap on electricity have it on all the time I pray nothing goes wrong again .

I had issue with my newly installed evaporate cooling system and was without any cooling on the hottest day this summer. Reported the fault and they sent technician in couple of a days. The technician was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue in minutes. Quick fix makes client like me happy.

We have a 4 year old evaporative cooler, it didn’t work when installed, and every year the motor failed, 4 new motors in 4 years. The last warranty replacement motor took them 6 months to respond and replace the latest motor. Our cooler warranty expires next year, I am extremely concerned that as all previous motors have lasted less than 12 months that if the latest motor also fails in 12 months they won’t honour the warranty. The cooler itself is the best performing cooler I have owned, but unfortunately the motors continue to fail, the service department response has been very poor, the service technician that comes out is always excellent.UPDATE the new motor is failing after only 3 months and Bonaire managers and service department are not taking my calls or replying to my emails, For a national company, management are very unprofessional..
