My department used Move Dynamics to arrange my move from Canberra to Melbourne. The case manager was really friendly and made it all pretty easy. The movers were professional and super efficient especially when our stuff was delivered in Melbourne. I think this business does a good job.

Do Not Recommend. Deal direct with a moving company! Their insurance will not cover lost and broken items as previously reported on other reviews.In short Move Dynamics will appear to give good customer service but in fact they outsource to other companies and have no control over that companies (Allied Pickfords Darwin in our case) complete disrespect of your property and home.Our items were damaged to the value of $5000. A brand new king bed and mattress were cut with a box cutter and a second mattress ripped open.Our new house was left an absolute pig sty, the movers are extremely rushed, leave dirty fingerprints all over your furniture, cut expensive items with their box cutters because they are so rushed. They will upturn box’s in beds as a way of unpacking quickly.They will stand over you telling you to sign the paperwork and you have 14 days to make an insurance claim but DONT sign because MD will then reject your claim.Other moving companies give you 14 days to inspect your property because common sense says you don’t have a chance to inspect on the day of the move.- You actually pay for your boxes to be unpacked in a neat and professional way to the nearest flat surface.- The movers will do everything in their power to avoid unpacking- If they do unpack, they will do it in such an untidy manner you will just give up and tell them not to worry about it.- DONT SIGN the paperwork at the end of the day!!!!!!- MV will do everything in their power to get out of covering you with their insurance!If I could attach photos I would.DONT use Move Dynamics or Allied Pickfords.

This company is not a removalist, rather they gather your inventory and then find a removalist who can do it the cheapest and take the cream off the top. Terrible service and no care no responsibility company who can palm all your issues off as someone else’s problem. Damaged a lot of expensive items and then told us the paperwork was incomplete and they refuse to fix items. Their paperwork showed items that where not delivered and items that where delivered that did not show up on paperwork, was that poorly written that you could not read 70% of it. Although a full inventory was given the removalists showed up and only could fit a portion of our furniture and items, the rest was left at our old address 700kms away.Two removalists showed up and packed an entire 3-bedroom house in 4hrs so you can image how much care was given. But managed to pack the air con remotes from the old house. “clever”So, move dynamics don’t have removalists,don’t own removalists trucks,don’t come to your residence and inspect how much you have,don’t advise the amount of space required to move your items.don’t advise you on the requirements for their dodgy paperwork.don’t advise moving company of requirements from customer, once we actually got a removalist to contact us had to go through all the information again and explain what I had been telling move dynamics for 2 months only a week out before the move date.SO what do you actually do move dynamics?Clearly you don’t organise, I should have worked it out when the customer service person asked if my pool table folded in half. I would not recommend using any company unless you speak to the people who are going to move your items, unless of course they are worthless, and you don’t mind them being wrecked. Have moved many times before and a lot interstate and with out a doubt the worst experience ever. Luckily for them we owned the other property what if you where renting and they left your items behind. They are now someone else’s property unless you can drive 700kms and hopefully fit your refrigerator in your sedan.Words cannot describe the disappointment and now must organise to have the other items left behind sent up and items that can be repaired, fixed as unfortunately not everything can be fixed or replaced. If you have quality furniture especially antiques go with a quality removalist that understands that you can not replace something that is 100 years old.

Move Dynamics arranged a work related move on my behalf, unfortunately the providers Dawson Moving lost a number of boxes and items. Due to having the items in storage for a lengthy period and the removalist being not inclined to unpack the items upon delivery, these items were not identified until some time later. Move Dynamics were unable to rectify the matter and I have learnt a harsh lesson. I will make my own inventory for my next move and check it off personally. I am afraid I can not recommend this service.

avoid at all costs, clunky service and the removal company they used barely spoke english broke my $3k fridge which was “insured” on their policy for that amount weeks of emails back and forth got me all of $532 because in the fine print it’s depreciation absolute disgrace. they use second rate removal groups as a third party provider and wipe their hands of the mess.
