If you walk in and an elderly woman is behind the counter, just turn around and walk out. Her rudeness is not worth putting up with. However based on other reviews the other staff are lovely so don’t completely write off this place!

We were planning on picking up a few things but when we came in we were not acknowledged by the elderly lady who kept reading her newspaper. My family felt unwelcome since the elderly lady didn’t serve us at all or help us out during the few minutes we were there. Perhaps she was hard of hearing and didn’t hear us or perhaps her eyesight was so deteriorated that she didn’t see us, in which case, maybe she shouldn’t be working here anymore. We came in hoping to support a small business but ended up taking our business elsewhere.

The kiss of fire with butterscotch is awsome. Free tasting and $35 a bottle

During my visit I had a wonderful chat with Monika, a few tastes and ended up buying the butterscotch, kiss o fire (chilli) and a small coffee liqueur. I definitely recommend visiting and supporting a wonderful local business! Their goods are soooo delicious and I look forward to making a few butterscotch espresso martini’s!!

Great product! Really interesting flavours with the chilli mixed in! The lady who looked after us seemed a bit stressed/harried and mentioned she had a bus load coming in. She came across a little gruff, but gave us adequate attention and excellent information. I'd met this lady prior when it wasn't so busy and she was so helpful, so I realise the element of stress was affecting her. She gave us excellent information about the product and we bought a few bottles. Just be kind. We stood back and let her look after everyone else first and moved forward when she had a lull. It's a small shop, she's no doubt concerned about Covid, as are we all, so it's important we respect those boundaries and not crowd her. It was quite busy and she was exceptionally efficient! It was almost as if she knew what it was we'd like to try!

We enjoyed a great tasting experience, and what great tasting flavoured Liquor it is. My favourite was the Kiss of fire chilli, but I also loved the chilli-banana, and my mate couldn't go past the ginger-chilli. We'll be back for more!

Absolutely great place. They do tastings of their liquor chilli combos and non chilli, the guy here certainly knows his stuff. Check out the passionfruit and butterscoth liquor. Large bottles and smaller sample bottles available

If you like chilli, you will LOVE this place! Monika was an inspirational and amazing lady who helped us have a fantastic time. The liqueurs were so unique. They were not at all thick or syrupy. I will definitely be back the next time I visit the Hunter Valley!

Not sure what these other sooky people are complaining about. The old lady knows her stuff and isn’t there to mess around. We found her personality very amusing. We sampled many and bought 3 bottles. Also gave great advice about the drinks.

Great shop. Friendly staff. Wonderful liqueurs. Free tasting. A range with chilli infusion - hence the name, but there is a range without it. All locally made. Lots of interesting options to try. We liked and bought the ginger and chilli.
