MatchWorks Strathpine

Absolutely disgusted & appalled at how unprofessional , downright nasty & rude a female employee was during recent appointment at the Strathpine Matchworks job agency . I have never witnessed such a degrading & poorly run service for the help & assistance within the workforce.I would not recommend this job agency at all in this area ...

Having a small cleaning business And growing I needed help, so i decided to give Matchworks a try.They gave me a lady who claimed she had 20yrs experience in the cleaning industry to find out her work ethics was more like a 5yr old trying to clean. I gave her 2mnths training ( what cleaning job needs 2mnth worth of training?), she couldn't work unsupervised always calling and txting me asking me how to get things done! Lost a few clients along the way due to her ( as they claimed ) “ she looked like she was high on meth the way she was zooming around the place! Like she was in a hurry to be somewhere!”After i raised my concerns with Matchworks the case manager blamed ME! Also saying i never paid her on time. Pay day was tuesday of every week but the “worker” expected to be paid on Friday. Which would be the middle of the working week. Ive never heard of pays being paid mid week of a pay week! I think because i had a small business matchwork didnt take my business seriously & gave me a worker that lied on her resume about her work experience.

Always found them to be a great help, and understanding, keep up the good work. Also they try and accommodate people as much as they can and support you wherever needed, always have had a good experience with them, I would recommend them to people that need a hand with employment.

All their staff feel superior to everyone who ever walks in the door.They treat people like trashHonestly just garbage

In my very short time dealing with Matchworks Strathpine I dont have very much to say thats positive.Some staff have absolutely atrocious and disrespectful phone manner. Not letting you finish and interjecting with YES?

Not on any government benefits, walked in and asked if they have work available. Yes, they do. BUT, apparently unless I've been receiving a payout for the last three months then they won't do anything. I was told to go and apply for the dole (and ask for them to be my agency") and then in three months I'd have a chance. I love the Australian support system

I had to buy clothes for work. Was not reimbursed as told i would be. Slow replies and I lost over $200. But when a job.comes up they will call and contact you and if you don't take it then you get cut off. Bit hard to get to work when ya spent all ya money on the stuff for work

I would just like to give a massive shout out to Catherine at matchworks in strathpine she is absolutely incredible and goes above and beyond for all of her clients. She us extremely supportive, caring and friendly. She is by far the best job work provided I have ever had. And I am very lucky and greatful to have had her as my job work provided I honestly can't not thank you enough Catherine for all ur hard work and support. Words cant describes how truly greatful I am thank u so so much.

Catherine is awesome! Very helpful. Went above and beyond to help me join with NEIS so I could start my own business. My self employed future looks bright. Thank you Catherine!!!
