GDL is a lovely place I spoke with Andrew he is a very welcoming human and makes me feel like I’m at home. They installed a locker in my skyline so I could take it to the “race track” and unfortunately they had police on the race track…. Very good service 1# mechanic

I engaged GDL Automotive to do a Pre-Purchase Inspection as I live outside Sydney and was really impressed with ALL aspects of their business. They answered the phone promptly (rare in Mechanic world), they were able to fit it in quickly and had the payment and report back on the day of the inspection. A top class business process operation. Great work Dannie & team.

They were not qualified A/C specialist, yet gave (inaccurate and very expensive) advice on how to fix our A/C. A simple service was blown out to $2,000 for 'essential' work, including 2 new tyres, and still the plate protecting the underside of the engine was not bolted in properly, with one falling out the next day and all the rest found loose. I will have to take my vehicle to a real mechanic before I have confidence in the rest of the work. They were also unable to update the vehicle computer that a service had been performed.

After taking my car (2016 Holden Captiva) for service at a close by (large chain) service centre, I was given a hefty list of things that needed fixing or replacing to the tune of over 3k. I then took the car to Danni and the team and GDL who not only completed only the repairs that were needed, but saved me at least $1,000 if not more in the process. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend gdl to anyone especially those who own a jeep. It’s hard to come by mechanics who are willing to take on a jeep and do the job properly and not get ripped off. The boys in the store are super friendly. I know my wrangler is safe with gdl
