Coral Sea Resort Hotel

Great experience overall. Rooms are a bit dated and the pool was like visiting the set of Love Island with all the young adults vaping by the pool not very kid friendly. No pool supervision. No towels at the pool. Parking was a challenge but possible. Great views and great proximity to town and the city lagoon.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff team in reception and the Rocks restaurant are amazing. The room was specious and clean by most standards. We head a washer & dryer in the room. The shower is outdated but worked fine. Firm matress on the bed. Beautiful views and friendly cockatoos.

Wonderful place to stay. Great service, great food and great cocktails. The pool was wonderful to come back to after days exploring airlie/ doing tours. Friendly and accommodating staff.

What a place for location. The inside is partially renovated but the pool and bar area is amazing. This is equal with any resort in Asia just a lot closer. Food and beverage pricing is pretty fair. A limited wine list. Just need a few more high end choices. Service is good and nothing was too much trouble. Stay here if you are jumping on a sail boat experience.

This hotel was amazing! The view from our room was breathtaking, highly recommend ocean view rooms. The pool are is the best in Airlie beach. The service was excellent, breakfast was lovely. Location was great, just outside of the hustle and bustle of the Main Street but only a couple minutes walk to get there. I can not fault this resort. Thank you for a memorable stay, we will be back.

Had an amazing stay here, staff are very friendly and catering.It’s very close to the marina, only a 10 minute walk.You can leave bag at the hotel too if you book a boat tour.The gym is well kitted out, with some amazing views over the marina.Quite a lot of families and kids staying there too

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Coral Sea Resort (we came for our honeymoon from Canada). The grounds and our room were simply beautiful with amazing views. The resort and rooms were also very clean. We loved the updated grounds and decor - the decorating was so bright and welcoming! We felt right at home here and wish we didn’t have to leave! The location is perfect as it’s walking distance to the marina and to the city where all the restaurants, shops, cafes and bars are. Highly recommend staying here - hopefully we will be back!

The location is great, the staff were friendly, helpful and always provided service with a smile.The only criticism I have is that I paid $800 for 2x nights, for 1x person, for a room with a king bed and a bathroom. There was a balcony, however there was hardly a view to rave about as the balcony was facing an AC vent that was blowing hot air into the room if the door was left open for fresh air. The AC in the room also had a very musty smell to it so would suggest they need to be cleaned.Friends stayed here and paid the same amount of money that I did, yet, they had a balcony with an amazing view, kind bed, ensuite and a bathtub. Hardly seems fair.

Positives:- Location. Very close to main town, just a few minutes walk. Beautiful spot on the edge of the water with stunning views- Friendly staffNegatives:- Tiles surrounding the pools are extremely slippery, super dangerous in the kids pool area as our toddler kept slipping on them. Would also be nice to have a fence around the kids pool as currently they can just run out of the pool and fall off the edge of the cliff lol- The room we stayed in is dated, could do with a refurbishment- At breakfast you have to pay extra for anything hot, so eggs, sausages etc aren't provided unless you order off a menu- Restaurant food was overpriced. $42 antipasto which was below average, $185 seafood platter for 2 was smaller and not as good as the $150 one you can get at Fish D'Vine which was incredible. $12 mocktail was probably one of the most average ones I've ever had, should be priced around $7 for that quality- Pool is freezing cold and there is no warm spa
