Sullivans Cove Distillery

Was so excited to try this award winning whisky, which is only sold exclusively in Tasmania. It certainly did not disappoint. We had a tasting session which allowed us to taste all three of their signature whiskies. Knowledgeable and friendly staff made the experience super enjoyable. Highly recommend paying a visit to whisky lovers.

Went there today and the lovely NIkayla showed me around and explained everything to me what a fantastic guide 10/10 sat down and tried so many great whiskies, I’m a big fan of our Aussie whiskies and SC has proved it by winning a Worlds best Whiskey.. We really need to support not only SC whiskey but all Aussie whiskey. What a great job they do.. Well done to you all

Definitely worth a visit whilst in Hobart. We did on the way out of Hobart to the Coal River Food and Wine trail. Only downside is limited bottlings available for sale as most are now available by ballot only. It will be good when production capacity increases.

Had a great tasting session.Exceptional staff and service to match the exceptional whiskey.Came during 'whiskey week's so got to taste some extra special gems too. Left the place a little worse for wear hahaha

Had an absolutely incredible experience here. Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. They go above and beyond during the tastings explaining it all in detail carefully and even answering any questions without hesitation. A must visit if you're ever near Hobart.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, very well looked after, had a great chat about the whisky, history and future of Sullivans Cove, exciting times ahead. Great whisky flight, the new location will suit this place even better, great work. Wife even surprised me with a bottle of American Oak Ex Bourbon, sublime.

Harry was such a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. After a long time I was able to visit my favourite Australian whisky maker. Was good to be able to hear about some of the history about distilleries in Tasmania and seeing the whisky making process. The tasting was great, loved every bit of it.I arrived early and the front of house staff were extremely friendly. Was offered two whisky to taste, both of which can only be had at the distillery.Ended up purchasing two bottles to be delivered and service was great, made sure everything was right before I was on my way.Look forward to taking another tour at Sullivan's Cove when they move locations on the Hobart harbour.

Fantastic experience in the tasting room. The staff were friendly and patient, and were more than happy to share lots of information about their whiskies on offer. Had the old and rare whisky tasting flight, after which they then offered a bonus tasting of the special cask and american oak single cask bottlings which were available for sale in the cellar door. Very close to Hobart Airport and definitely worth a visit if you have an hour of free time.

Did the tour & tasting one late afternoon and just before my flight out of Hobart, and enjoyed the 1 hour session. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the operation is small but professionally run. I recommend coming 20 mins early before your tour starts so you can sample some whisky and check out the surroundings. Love the location as it’s close to the airport so you can go to the distillery before or after you arrive at the airport. Bottles are available for purchase.
