City Desktop Training

The training was fantastic! I came into the course knowing nothing about Indesign but found myself picking up the navigation and really enjoyed what I was learning. The trainer Adrian took the time to check in with all students in the class - he knew when I was struggling and gave me quick easy guidance to help. The tasks we completed were very professional making it very easy to imagine working on the software on a daily basis. I would recommend and I have since looked into further courses!

My colleagues and I took part in the online Adobe InDesign Essentials course with City Desktop Training with instructor Adrian Wood. The course and Adrian were both very good! Easy to follow, and we learnt lots of new skills. Would definitely recommend to others!

The InDesign Essentials Online course provided a great introduction to the InDesign software and I feel really confident to start utilising my new skills. What I learned over the course of two days was really valuable and applicable to my role. David was a fantastic presenter, explaining all of the processes and tools well, and accommodated for questions with clear and concise responses. I'd recommend this course for anyone looking to learn the foundations of InDesign.

I just wanted to give some feedback about the course that I took. This was by far and I mean by far the best course I have ever taken. From start to finish the customer service was INCREDIBLE. Adrian Woods (Our teacher) was by far the best teacher I have ever had. His pace and rhythm through the material was absolutely Perfect. His attention to detail, the way he answered questions and the way he presented the material was marvelous. I did the InDesign Essentials training and found it to be informative and incredibly helpful in developing my skills with InDesign. David was a wonderful presenter as he was very engaging and passionate, which made two days worth of back-to-back online training enjoyable! I've found that online training can sometimes be monotonous, however, this certainly wasn't the case with City Desktop. Thank you, David!

I highly recommend the Adobe InDesign Essentials course at City Desktop Training for anyone working as a marketing or communications professional, it equips you with a basic understanding of how InDesign works. Whether you have a role that involves hands on graphic design or if you work with graphic designers, it makes your work so much easier when you understand basic principles such as how to prepare or export files for web and print output. I have been working in roles where design takes up a large chunk of my responsibilities and although I've been using InDesign here and there over the past 10 years, it was great to learn how to use it properly. This course covers the essentials and need to knows, our instructor David B also shared a lot of helpful hints and shortcuts which will make my workflow more efficient.

The Abobe InDesign Lite course was perfect. I have gained so much confidence in using the program and designing marketing collateral for work. The service is excellent, you're provided with workbooks and constant support. The teacher David was amazing. I highly recommend attending these courses if you're in marketing. 10/10 - I will absolutely be back for more courses.

I completed the Photoshop Advanced course online and had a great teacher and resources provided during the training. These resources included and extensive folder of images, PSD files and some premade photoshop actions to be used during the training, with many extra images to practice on my own time. There was also a printed booklet provided outlining many of the techniques taught in the course. The teacher took time to answer any questions I had and was very thorough and knowledgeable. The certificate was emailed to me immediately after the course was completed. For constructive criticism - I think structuring more parts of the course to simulate real world projects and workflow could elevate the learning. For example providing students a real-world client request and showing them the start-to-finish workflow to completion. Thanks for the lessons and I may use CDT again in the future.

Great experience with City Desktop InDesign Training. Adrian is an active graphics industry professional using InDesign. He delivered great online communication and content delivery through zoom. Tim was awesome to deal with during the course booking and post course communication was great as well. Highly recommend!
