This is a great no frills salon.They do a fantastic blow dry that lasts for days and are consistently good with cut and colours.Don't go here expecting champagne and tea, go here expecting professional hairdressers that know their trade, that will get you in and out promptly.Hot tip: they have a new beautician who does the best spray tan in the CBD.

walked in, a lady with dark hair sat me down, no greeting, or smiling, she looked like she had the worst day, I felt like I was making her day worse before I even said anything! she asked me what I needed done, I explained, she didn't do it well but I didn't feel that I should ask her to fix it. I just wanted to leave as soon as I could, meybe the rest of the staff is good but I am not coming back again, she didn't even get the hair off my neck!! I went to another hairdresser straight away! that was so annoying!

I have been going to Sydney Hair and Beauty for about 3 years now - they are fabulous! Michelle is the lady who does my hair, and I feel completely confident in her abilities as well as her understanding of what I want. In addition, when she's away I am also confident that the others know what to do due to their excellent record keeping. I don't hesitate to recommend them.

Lovely staff fantastic colour and cut all for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I went there for a roots retouch. My hairdresser was really nice and chose the colour properly, which is not an easy task. Overall I liked the colour, except for a chunk of hair at the front, where the colour was not consistent. They ended up charging me 30% more than what was agreed to on the phone. They told me I was lucky they had not charged me twice than what was agreed on the phone due to the thickness of my hair. I mentioned the problem with that chunk of hair, but they did not provide a solution. I had to cut if off.I'm never coming back again.

Terrible blow dry. Asked for big curls/waves with lots of hairspray as they needed to last all night for a formal ball. They'd fallen out within an hour (she did a rush job) and hair was left straight and frizzy. Ignored my contact requesting a redo on another date (too late had to go to ball looking rubbish). Cheap but not worth time.

Made an appointment for 9:30am arrived at 9:25am. I understand some places fall behind but it’s early in the morning. I let them know as soon as I walked in the door I rushed to be on time and needed to get in and out.Was asked to wait in a chair for 5-10 minutes sat there for 15. Nobody said anything or did anything. Stood up and said I don’t think there will be enough time. One hairdresser asked another hairdresser “how much longer are you going to be “ she replied “5-10 minutes”!unconvincingly.People paying for a service have an expectation that when they make an appointment, that is generally the time the appointment should commence. If there are delays, it pays to keep your customer informed so they can make a choice. Just common courtesy.A complete waste of my time.Won’t be back.
