We arrived starving, meaning we'd eat ANYTHING- but they changed that! Entree prawn cutlets were average, but downhill from there. Fried rice was burnt, you could taste it immediately and they tried to hide the black burnt bits. We sent it back. Our honey chicken and lemon chicken tasted horrible. Chicken was dried out and sauce was unpleasant and lacking any lemon or honey flavours. This place had GREAT good 12 months ago, I was so disappointed to return to this! And by the way, the prices had gone up substantially, just a shame the food has declined substantially.

First visit to Chopstix - we noticed it because of its location in the middle of town.We booked ahead and that turned out to be a good move because the place was booked out.And not surprising because it's very very good...! Quick service, delicious food - so fresh - and attentive service from the waiter staff. There are some interesting surprises on the menu and we were totally satisfied with our visit.10/10 for Chopstix Avoca.

Chopstix was good but I think they’ve changed hands. The food is low quality and tastes nothing like typical Chinese. The flavours are all wrong and not nice. Its like the work experience kid is cooking the meals.

Good brunch meal of pork dumplings starters and then salt&pepper prawns and honey chilli chicken. Both were larger servings than expected and all were tasty.

Without going into too much detail, the quality of the food and service is way below average. After trying several times and giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. I won’t be eating there again.

We were suggested this restaurant, and the food was nice, but also I think it was more gentrified Chinese food than authentic as it states on the website. The options were a little basic in this sense, and there was a soft almost pastey meat in the short soup dumplings. The food tasted great in every other respect. I really do applaud the sustainability efforts with the cardboard takeaway packaging too, it made me feel good eating it.

We’ve eaten a few times here and whilst the food is pretty good, the service is really disappointing. Tonight we ordered $85 of food, prawn chips were missing and we called straight away. Person answering said they would drop them round. 45 mins later and still no sign of prawn chips so I called back - same person answered and seemed to have no recollection of saying they’d drop them round. She really snidely asked if I’d like the $3 refunded or the chips to be delivered in “maybe” 30 mins (1.5 hours after the rest of the order arrived). I know it might seem small to them but it was an important part of the meal for us and the kids. Anyway, won’t be bothering again, there are other tasty Chinese restaurants around that have better service we’d rather give our money to.

I always get takeaway so I don't know if the service or the atmosphere is any good inside the restaurant, but if it is anything like there food it should be good, definitely recommend eating there salt and pepper pork chops, chicken chow mein and there prawn toast is definitely the best I have ever had.
