You can tell it was designed to be a great park, unfortunately the maintenance side of things has just let them down. Swings missing, equipment broken or not working and just generally not super clean looking. The design, shade and options are great! Toilets, tables and plenty of space. Suitable for different age groups with the options. Having the zoo and cafe close definitely make it worth a visit but we wouldn't return to the park alone, unless it has some serious maintenance done.

A really nice playground also a zoo just next. You will get to see a lot of amazing animals. They look healthy but might lonely as some of them was alone. The zoo did't ask for entry fee but cheer to donate a gold coin to look after all the animals.

Great place to take the family … and they only want a gold coin donation. Best value outing for any family … heaps of different native animals including a bilby. Also a nice cafe 50 meters from the nature centre.

I love this place because it's free, there's lots of native animals in a cute little zoo, and there's a decent cafe. This park has it all.

Great park, the zero depth water pumps are a fabulous idea, but both were damaged one completely non functional, the other a broken weld / join. Would be amazing if they had a maintenance schedule...

Lots of space here. We had afternoon tea in the rotunda. The trees are lovely and very photogenic. Lots of room for the children to 'go wild'. I'm assuming weddings are popular at this location, because of all the confetti we found around the rotunda. Visit if you live nearby, it's really quite a gem.Parking- yes, but its all along the narrow road. It gets full quickly.Toilets - yes. Not a lot of them. But they are very clean and there's plenty of toilet paper.Shade- lots!

It's a nice walk around and a great way to get closer to your 10,000 steps. You can go quick or slow, you can take 10 minutes or 30 minutes and read the information or take photos. It's good for families and teaching young children about different native animals

Great place to visit with the family. Awesome playgrounds, a free animal natural reserve, bush chapel, fabulous cafe, and take a trip back in time with the old cobble road. So much to see and do.
