Orenda Float Spa Hobart

I loved the experience as a first timer! Friendly, professional, quiet, clean...and the float tank really made me relax like nothing else in many years. Will definitely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Orenda Float Spa and I can confidently say that it was an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The spa itself is incredibly relaxing and serene, making it the perfect place to unwind and destress.I had a massage with Emma and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. She was attentive to my needs and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire session. Her expertise and skill were evident, and I left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.Overall, I highly recommend Orenda Float Spa and specifically recommend Emma as a massage therapist. The combination of the tranquil environment, friendly staff, and exceptional services make this a must-visit spot for anyone looking to relax and take care of themselves.

Zoe gives a great massage :)She always checks in with pressure and helps me relax. She is also very knowledgeable on how the body moves and operates.

I opted for a full body massage, Zoe did a very good job. I was asked if I had any muscle soreness, and she worked on it. I feel so relaxed. Highly recommend. Thanks a lot!

We love how Orenda is tucked away all quiet like, very welcoming as always and such a relaxing experience. We had the couples massage experience and recommend! Always smiling and friendly, we will of course return next time we come back to Hobart!

My remedial massage with Sara was great. Sara provided a professional, technical and targeted massage treatment to an ongoing injury. I appreciated the feedback she gave to me on the area and her recommendations for future treatments and at home care.

Excellent remedial massage with Zoe.She found all my sore spots and worked the many knots I had from my neck through to my calves. Very happy, felt much better next day. Explained what she was doing and gave good advice for future maintenance, stretches etc. Will be back .

I went there today and was very disappointed.I had booked in for the Renew and Recharge package.Arrival: Going upstairs and someone rushed out to greet me and told me to take a seat, there was no offer of water or tea whilst I waited for my service. I arrived 10 minutes early, the woman said they are running 10 minutes late for my treatment, so I had a 20 minute waitAdvice for improvement: Put music on in your waiting area, and offer customers drinks.At this stage there was no consultation on areas of my body that I am comfortable with being touched. I was given the option of 4 essential oils to choose from for my treatment. There was a form from another client on the table in front of me but wasn't offered to me to complete.I enter the room, get changed and lay on the bed for the scrub. I am not usually comfortable with my stomach being touched but because of the lack of conversation earlier that area of my body is done during the treatment. After I have a shower. I am given the option of 2 robes to use, neither fit. I am a plus sized person however I have yet to have experience a spa where they have not had an accommodating robe size and changed them over with no work to ensure I don't feel uncomfortable.The massage starts and again I was given no consultation in terms of the style of massage. Given the name of the package, I had assumed it would be a relaxation massage. There was a combination of Massage/Deep Tissue/Thai. Now I will note I called out a pain area because she did ask about if there was any sore spots. I have left with 1 part feeling better, the other is still painful.After the massage, I am told I should exercise more. I strongly recommend any plus size person unless they are comfortable with body shaming not attending this business.I am given a slightly bigger robe which allows me to change rooms for my facial. It starts off great, however the mask gets messed up in my hair and at the end of the treatment the woman is spending what felt like forever to me picking bits of the mask out of my hair. She had left bits on my nose, all over my lips.I was given a scalp massage as part of the treatment however wasn't consulted if oils on my scalp are okay. So now I have oily hair.As I am getting dressed, I notice there is exfoliant still around my neck area from earlier in the treatment.My package still finished at the scheduled time, I checked my phone as I was getting dressed.The good bits, I think the fit out is lovely. When I first walked in there was an amazing aroma that wafted across me which I found incredibly pleasant.All in all, I don't recommend and definitely not worth the money that I paid for it.

Loved it!Booked a mini day spa with remedial massage, reflexology and float spa. Massage was truly the best I have ever had, reflexology was excellent with great knowledge of the art. Float spa was so relaxing, took a minute to get past the closed space and then fell promptly asleep! Well worth the visit and time, do yourself a favour! Thanks

Recently had couples massage. Lovely experience with great masseuses that communicated well throughout and were experts with their massaging. Lovely and peaceful atmosphere with warm tea on arrival. Would go again
