Alcocks delivered and installed a fusion pool table upstairs at a townhouse I bought recently. The crew rocked up exactly when they said they would, and spent a couple hours making sure the table was exactly right. A very professional, reliable company that sells high quality tables.

I was referred to this company by a customer wanting a professional assessment and repair quote regarding repairs to a damaged 40 year old Table. I didn't mind the referral given I seldom had work involving Billiard/Pool Tables. I engaged their services with a standard request of conducting an assessment, and providing a report with photos and their professional opinion.Instead, I received a communication lacking in detail and without any opinion, just a cost to repair without committing to anything. When I questioned about photos to support their quote and a breakdown of costs, nothing.I eventually got hold of the Owner and he reiterated that they had 150+ years experience and they seemed to be busy doing work that they weren't necessarily going to be paid for. When I committed to paying for their report and services, I was told they weren't that desperate for the money and advised they didn't want to see their engagement through. They cancelled my engagement of their services...Incidentally, I contacted a competitor the next day, who kindly arranged to visit our customer and provided everything within 72 hours including Pre-Accident & Post Accident Valuation along with breakdown of costs, Market Value with some excellent photos to support his opinion.A little advice perhaps, those before you knew how to look after your customers needs which is why you are probably still in business today. It wouldn't hurt for you to teach the next generation how to listen to your customers needs so that your tradition is handed down with the same level of respect and integrity.

From start to finish the purchase and eventual delivery of our table was a smooth and seamless transaction. I have no hesitation recommending Alcocks as the place to by a high quality table.

Brilliant from beginning to end - been a great experience getting our own custom built table - it’s a beautiful, perfect piece of work, expertly installed on our first floor by Scott and Dean who happily helped in all the positional decision making - old style service, craftsmanship and professionalism - nothing too much trouble. I bought a beautiful cue at Alcocks today. Customer service was absolutely brilliant and I would recommend them to anyone. Delighted !!!!

Obviously they don't care if they cancel appointments, or agree to work then decline to turn up. Even when its an Alcock's Table. I note the happy people on these reviews are only people you would describe as major customers. Everyone else they burn off without a thought. Go somewhere where they care.

Today I rang enquiring about a full size cue case stating that as a pensioner I didn't need anything to fancy.They offered me a plastic cylinder capped at both ends to which I replied , perfect, how much? , to which came the reply, for you only sir, free. On my way to the rooms from darling station,I asked an elderly gentleman directions and he said ok , just up the road, they're very nice people. I couldn't agree more.Hard to find people in business of this calibre in this day and age.Well done gentlemen.
