I am disgusted in the service in the canteen today Sunday 20th June. My husband went and asked if he could have our bottle filled with water only to be told that they only sell" water. The water we were refused was for our toddlers baby bottle. Appalled that we were refused water from a tap. Will not be coming here again and will be making sure others don't either."

Local pub, beers are pretty expensive. $6.40 for a schooner of mid. Heaps of TV's upstairs so could probably ask to watch any Fox Sports channel

I recommend going here on the Weekends at night time. The Manager that is on the weekend nights is an amazing young man that needs a pay rise. He is so helpful, nice and cares about what the customer(s) wants and needs. The Manager that is on the Weekdays and week nights, is rude, a smart a*s, need I say more?DO NOT try to call them by the phone number that is shown. They DO NOT answer and they never listen to their messages that you leave on their answering machine. I tried to book a function with them but they LOST ME as a customer. I WILL NOT be recommending your business to anyone else. (They don't even deserve 1 star).

I have visited Sandgate Sports Club on a ffew occassiosn I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. The meazls are delicious and are also a reasonable price, I would recommend any one looking ofr aquiet relaxing evening meal out to try this club, you wont be disappointed, oh and the pokies pay well too!

Dinner with friends for a Friday night outing. James was very friendly and helpful. Keno win of $60 made it a free, pleasant evening.

I had the chicken schnitzel lunch that was advertised for $9 90. With chips and salad it ended up costing $14. The schnitzel could only be described as chicken flavoured breadcrumbs. There would have been lucky to be 5 millimetres of chicken inside the bread crumb coating. Very dry, no sauce to go with it. Salad was very nice and a decent size serve of chips.

This place is now a community entertainment venus and volunteer sports club. It is only open for events. The food and service when it is open is fantastic.

Overcharged at bar, no apology. Poor service generally if not a local. Large portions of decent food. Wake up. Service your customers as if you care.

I am a member and enjoy the good atmosphere and great food. Toby ĺooked after us on Sunday evening as does Susie on week nights a great place to visiþ.
