Must say the steak and mushroom pie was the worst I have ever eaten.So much, so my wife and I threw them in the bin after one biteWould not recommend this one

Expensive and poor quality. Stopped in for a steak and mushroom pie, got a very dry mince and chewy mushroom pie instead. Stick to the better known local bakeries.

If you're looking for a traditional country Cafe, then this place has you covered. The do a fantastic hamburger with the lot, awesome pies, particularly the satay chicken pie, lamb shanks, potato bake, pizza, the usual fish n chips, chiko rolls, spring rolls, devil wings, sandwiches, sweet slices and tarts plus icecreams and milkshakes.Service has always been very good and the prices are pretty reasonable.

Called in Sunday evening for a bite to eat. Really surprised and impressed. It was a rainy and cold night but the coffee (long black)pizza (BBQ Chicken) and the vibe of this place left me with a warm glow. The pizza was definately the best I have had in years. Easily fed two of us where as the chain options usually mean a pizza each. Thick based pizza was surprisingly crisp and the use of actual chicken was a happy delight. Being near the park means the kids can play while you wait for the pizza.

Not happy. We asked for take in. They didn't ask about what we wanted with tea etc. The table was so wonky everything spilt. Lame.

Sometimes this is the best food available in Braidwood and great when the need arises. I go for pieces of fish which are hot and tasty and a good price. There is a balance between good preparation, good taste and the time it takes to make so you might have to wait a little.

Meat pies looked nice, but one bite and it was almost empty. Jelly base, not much meat in it. Won't come again.
