Main Ridge Estate

This is a well overdue review but my partner and I went here a few months ago in January and it was such a beautiful experience. Customer service, food, and general ambience of the estate was truly wonderful. We'll be coming back once we get the chance so keep up the great work guys ❤️❤️

I liked this place set in the rolling hills. A great view into the wintery and trees beyond the yard. Good tasting of wine as well as good and informative service.

Generally speaking, the taste of the food was good, better than average.We have four ppl and it was $60 each, $240 in total but the portion was bit not worth that price.As a winery, they mainly focus on Chardonnay & Pinot Nor. Limited options, but not producing excellent results.The ones in 2020 year taste like added water into the wines. Very watery and light. In 2019 year ones are okay, but tbh for $65, you can get too many better ones in BWS or other wineries.In conclusion, it’s an overpriced fine dinning with limited wine selections. Can’t say it represents the quality of Peninsula.I wanted to give it a two stars, but the doggy cheered my day, so I’ll give it a 3.5 stars.

Very lovely and beautiful winery, which is a little smaller and more personal than others. The staff were super friendly and we had a great lunch and good Chardonnays. Highly recommended!

Wow! Highly recommend!! Food was absolutely perfect and wine was amazing! The incredibly friendly and professional team coupled with the stunning surroundings (gardens are picture perfect!) made for a fantastic afternoon. Can't wait to return for another Sundowner session. Thank you!

The quintessential long lunch with a nod to Burgundy in the Australian bush.The Main Ridge Estate owners and all of the staff are knowledgeable and genuinely excited about both the produce served and minuscule quantities of fine wine that they produce from this high and north facing site. It’s rare, climactic and agricultural conditions are variable and winemaking must be a challenge yet the site shines. I feel that you get (a more relaxed) Louis Vuitton on a Nike budget. The food is wine friendly, sumptuous and well thought out. We will be back to celebrate many more anniversaries in the future and hopefully dig deeper into the back vintages and knowledge. Such a beautiful winery - the food was beautifully presented and were all so delicious! Service was super attentive and warm, a very nice experience. Set lunch menu was of such good value, one of my favourite winery in this region. Will definitely come back again!

Beautiful little winery situated in the Mornington Peninsula. We were greeted by Archie, the winery doggie and seated promptly. The food was delicious, simple, but amazing quality. The Chardonnay was beautiful, loved every drop. Service was friendly and attentive. The grounds stunning. Definitely recommend.

Overpriced food. $65/person - for two people with 3 entree sized dishes and small bread platter that includes measly amount of olives, nuts and chorizo.What was annoying was that when we enquired about the menu and the portion sizes about the dishes to choose from, we were under the impression that they were sizable dishes.Service was lacking.Wouldn’t recommend anyone going there for food.Wine was decent. Probably best to stick to doing just wine and cellar door.There are winery/restaurants around with better food with better value with better service to choose from.
