Lovely spot to watch Birdlife,other folk doing what they feel like. Could be a good fishing spot too from seeing folk fishing there

Great dog walking track with lots of poop bag stations! Just needs a designated off leash zone on the eastern side awsy from roads,to be more dog friendly!

Great spot for a evening walk, the lake itself is pretty shallow so not ideal for swimming, but still attracts plenty of activity during the summer.

my dearest young daughter had shown me this wonderful peaceful place and everyone can relaxed atmosphere of stepping back in time as you see this lake Hamilton for the first time you the person just do not want to leave at all but then your thoughts remind you that it is time to go home.lachygirl Rivers

Nice and beautiful place to spend the day!There is toilets and showers!

Its peaceful. There is an area accessable for boats and leasure water activities eg. Boating, fishing, skiing. The schools practice there rowing there weekly. Toilets provided. The walking track is about 4kms long. There are different parks around the lake, one is a small park, one is a skate park with slide equipment, one is the new adventure playround. There is a spillway you walk over, as well as a bridge. Its not well lit, so i dont reccommend walking around at night, as there are no security cameras, in case something bad happened. You will see lots of people exercising/walking their dogs. Friendly atmosphere. Bring a drink bottle with you on hot days. Boat shed area has toilets and showers inside. There are toilets at all the playgrounds.

Love this place! It has the best walking track all the way around the lake (approx 4.2kms), with outdoor gym equipment dotted around the track for those so inclined. There are two playgrounds, one on either side of the lake. There is also plenty of seats located all around the lake. Definitely somewhere to check out if you are in the area! They also have a few water fountains located along the track at which you can have a drink or fill your water bottle up.

great to walk, run and jog. we have great facilities including park and also gym equipment around the lake

Very nicely kept with an excellent walk or bike track and playground.

Nice walk but must be careful with other people's dogs they don't respect the fact that it's a shared walking path for all dogs
