An excellent dishes with authentic Sri Lankan taste. Service is amazing and easy. The menu is on the phone so you need to download it. You can pay through the app. Great food and vibe.Definitely we will be going back. The only suggestion is that they could provide proper cutlery including (knives) and also instead of wooden forks.

Went there for the first time. Food was superb. Great atmosphere. Lovely music. Would've been good if desserts were on the menu but no big deal. Will go there again

Great atmosphere at this joint. Located just outside Dandenong Market. Make sure you book ahead as it fills up fast. Awesome tasting food made fresh to order. Menu is on your phone so you need to download it. You can pay via the app or at the bar. The bar is stocked with some great Sri Lankan drinks, arracks, toddy, beers, you name it. The staff are super friendly and social. There is a DJ and singer. Reminds me of my childhood when we went to Sri Lankan dinner dances. A must try for anyone who loves a good curry and Lankan music.

If you love spicy or just want to try something new, this is the place to go! The food was very delicious and seasoned just right for the strong pallet. If you're looking for a good spicy flavour, I recommended the Pepper bites or Devilled meats. Need something a little more mild, then you will love the Kottu (vegetarian available)!The atmosphere is lively and pleasingly loud with live music. A true experience for the evening!

Amazing service, atmosphere, food, and drink. A must visit in Melbourne. It gets quite busy, so make a reservation. Helps to go on a day that's not too windy.

Good outdoor concept ..open area and plenty of parking..food is average.you can try some Sri Lankan street foods and Sri Lankan beer sometimes there is no menu and might better to ask the staff.. friendlyservice and .overall good experience

“Machan” the word it self gives you a warm Sri Lankan vibe. Their food, drinks and services are right on top of it as well.Amazing Kottu fried rice hot buttered cuttlefish and many more delicacies to taste. Apart from the world famous Sri Lankan Lion beer, this place has some unique flavored cocktails which you could try out!Bring a jacket with if there is wind. But you won’t need it when there is warm Sri Lankan vibes all over…

Excellent food with great band for live music. Only suggestion is they could give proper cutlery instead of wooden forks. Other than that, very lively place.
