Best mechanics I've ever dealt with

Went to Koah service station this morning, car wouldn’t start at the pump. Walked into Koah automotive, took them 15 minutes to even take a look, manager was rude and arrogant, total of 5 minutes to diagnose that I needed a new battery and give me a jump start as they did not have a compatible one in stock (which if they did would have cost me $230 not sure if that was fitted, didn’t ask) then he charged me $55 for his ‘service’. His justification was that they charge $110 an hour for labour...not sure how that equates for the time it took!!!Most definitely NOT recommended!

They know what they are doing and at a reasonable price

Since someone just reminded me of this place, here's my review. Far too slow! I had 2 suspension struts and rear brake pads replaced here on a Mazda 6 early 2018 because I didn't have any tools to do it myself then. And it took them an insane 6 hours to do it! The only reason I'm not rating 1 is because they quoted for 4 and didn't charge the extra 2. But still, 6 hours to do that is rediclous! I could have done it with just a trolley jack and socket set in 4 hours, but these guys have lifts and air tools and all manner of professional equipment and they can't do it faster than me? What's the point is paying then? Wouldn't use again. Slow service and far too long wait for simple repair work.

Had a Safety Certificate inspection done. Lots of items to be fixed and all were done but on second inspection I was told the rocker cover gasket and a plug were leaking. Took it to my qualified Land Rover mechanic to be fixed but he could not find a leak in the rocker cover and explained the plug is a wading plug! Went back and told them, asking them to look at the rocker cover and give me an opinion but they refused. No comment about the wading plug!!

All throughout our conversations, the mechanic was rude, aggressive, dishonest and incapable of doing his job.The mechanic didn't have time to look for the spare parts, so he got me to look for the spare part. when the spare part arrived, the part was wrong because the old airbag was not compatible with the new steering wheel. So, I had to use more money to buy a compatible airbag and cruise control switch. The mechanic did not instruct me as to which parts I should be ordering.Whilst the parts were being delivered, the parts dealership said: It is the end of the day and your mechanic has still not contacted us". Then when I spoke to him

Well had a lengthy phone call with this workshop.. Even though they weren't equipped to handle my complex auto electrical problem they were more then happy to point me in the rite direction and assist as much as they could, very professional service and courteous
