Lake Bywater Cottage

Fantastic spot. So well set up

My wife Sue and I stayed at Lake Bywater Cottage about 2 months ago and it was the most relaxing time we have spent over a weekend. The quality of the cottage and surrounding environment is second to none and we felt right at home with all the creature comforts. Sitting by the fire at night under the night sky was special. The hosts are fantastic people as well. Highly recommended

We stayed for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! We took the Kayaks and were able to access the river via the lake which was abundant with birdlife. The accomodation was fantastic, with super comfy beds, and the views from the living area are unreal. You feel like you're a world away and it's only just off the main road.

In two words - Sheer bliss.I spent 2 nights on my own in this beautiful cottage, just to escape the stress and noise of recent life. As I drove along the driveway on arrival, the feeling of serenity washing over me was palpable. What a peaceful and uplifting home this is. My days spent wandering the tracks. Watching the sun rise from the lounge area, with my morning coffee. Sipping wine, whilst enjoying a good book around the firepit. Watching and listening to the abundance of birdlife and not to forget a family of 3 Kookaburras who visited me twice each day. Stunning, simply stunning.My sincere thanks to her owners, who have gone above and beyond for their guests. I will be back soon.

What a beautiful spot and a beautiful weekend enjoyed by young and old. Lake Bywater cottage honestly has absolutely every thing you could possible need! Board games, lawn games aplenty, 8 ball and table tennis, kayaks and life jackets (not a child in sight on a screen - bliss).A stunning character home, with a beautiful outlook - Thank you Lake Bywater Cottage, we will be back!!
