Bimbadeen Phillip Island

Stayed 2 nights over the weekend and it was a great stay. Super super clean, and Jenny was such a lovely host helping us settle in, didn't feel like a host but more like a neighbour. Really great to learn and understand the back story of the farm from Mark. Would highly recommend here.

Stayed in cabin #3.Arrived the place after rain stop thus place was muddy and wet.There is 2 steps before reaching the door. Personally suggest the owner to Path the drive road and the walkway section as guest like me are bringing large luggages into the accommodation.The muddy walkway does posed a challenge to me when carrying the heavily loaded luggages.Nice experience farm stay. The sheep and cow greeted us..hahaha.

came here back in Aug'22 for the second time, the first time was way back in Aug'19. still my goto place in Phillip Island for accomodation, love the quietness and peacefulness of this accomodation. always lovely to meet Freddie and Eddie as our backyard neighbours!

Beautiful property. The retreat overlooks the pasture with cows grazing on it. What a view to wake up to in the morning. Stayed in the smaller retreat and it has the basic amenities. The shower was great and modern. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Highly recommended if you wish to have a two-day trip to Philip Island. Glad to have booked it as it saved us a long trip back to Melboune after the penguin parade.

We stayed 5 days at Bimbadeen. The accommodation is three portacabins situated in a farmers field in the center of Phillip island about 10 mins from Cowes. The keys were left in the door when we arrived so entry is easy. The place is clean and spacious and reasonably well furnished. The kitchen is small and basic but you can cook in it. Unless you stay in the second cabin there is no Wifi as it’s shared from that cabin and cannot reach the other two. Also the cellular service is spotty, great for a digital detox. Probably would have been better if Wifi was dropped from the amenities. Same with the BBQ which is a central one on the deck next to the permanent closed cafe. The BBQ was dirty rusty and didn’t work.On the 3rd day the kitchen bin became full. We messaged the manager via whatsapp about that situation they didn’t suggest anywhere we could take it. Only that they would come and collect it. Finally on our last day someone came to collect it. Communication with the manager isn’t great, slow to respond and not resolving issues in a timely manner. Not what you would expect from a 4 star accommodation.The sheep were great and friendly the llamas not so much. Overall for the price I would not recommend this accommodation.

Very friendly host and I am surprised by the cleanliness. The retreat is so cozy and clean. The location is good. Just 7mins drive to Cowes where you can find a few supermarkets and restaurants.

We booked and changed this trip 5 times because of Covid, and there was never an issue with Steve. He was very accommodating. Thanks Steve. We were so excited to finally get here on Friday for our two night farm stay. And you did not disappoint. We were 5 adults 2 children and one baby. We comfortably fitted in to the 3 bedroom retreat. It was so clean, cozy and warm and met all our needs. The children loved wondering around the farm and looking for the animals, following the map provided and especially jumping in the puddles. They were so cute. The other 2 retreats had guests but we did not hear anyone. It as like the property was all ours. We received this as a present from our kids. It was absolutely fantastic. I loved the location and walking around the farm was awesome. Staff and Mark were great and would recommend Bimbadeen to all.

I couldn't rate this place highly enough.It's always nervy booking a place for the first time but this place exceeded all expectations.Within entering the place we were blow away by how immaculate and well-designed our cabin was. Having rooms at opposite ends allowed my family and our visiting relatives the privacy we needed to enjoy our stay.We made full use of the facilities with our kids enjoying the company of the animals in the paddock behind us especially the sheep.We used the bbq and open deck to enjoy an evening meal overlooking the paddocks full of cows which is a memory I'll always cherish.Thanks so much to Jen and team for creating a wonderful experience. Will definitely recommend to friends and will book in again next time I plan to go to Phillip Island!
