As a permanent resident of Melbourne Australia I was looking for a local registered pergola builders in my nearby locality so that I can easily visit and communicate with them. When I searched pergolas Melbourne on the web I found Mel Pergolas Melbourne on the top google search. From there I found the address and visited the office to visualize the work on different sites. And then I decided to give my pergola construction project to your company. Mr. Steve Panghal your work was very professional and efforts of Mel Pergolas team are up-to my expectations. I am highly pleased for the unique pergola design you & your team constructed for me.

Poor experience.Very disappointed.Steve Pangal oversaw the building of my pergola (just over 12 months ago) and whilst we waited for council approval I thought I had developed a trusting relationship. This was not the case. It turned out that I he had knowlingly constructed the pergola out of line. (The design of the pergola uses extender brackets on the roof which is what I wanted.)An amazing amount of tiles were damaged and not properly reset which created water leakage through the roof.Because the pergola wasn't erected in line from the beginning it wasn't sitting properly on the extender brackets. The panels were not fastened properly on the frame. It was a shocking example of work from a Master Builder. As a single woman, on reflection realise that I was taken advantage of and foolishly trusted Steve to professionally manage the project. After many phone calls to the Master building association, Consumer Advice and Extender brackets, Steve and his smart ( excuse the pun) offsider came to rectify the faults. This meant that the whole construction was dismantled and the foundations realigned so that it was straight! I needed help from a builder friend to advocate on my behalf for this to happen as Steve back-pedalled all the way.On rebuild, all the panels were scratched and damaged.Steve presented as a decent and professional person. He was very happy to take my cash although not happy at all to acknowledge that he had made an error and that it was his responsibility to rectify the problem. If you sign a contract with Mel Pergolas watch the project all the way through.Very dissapointed.
