The Tramsheds Function Centre

We had our wedding reception at the Tramsheds Function Centre and could not have been happier. From the beginning stages of planning the wedding we were treated with respect and no questions were left unanswered. There were numerous times that I emailed Mick with questions and they were answered quickly. On the night the staff were excellent. The meals were served very quickly and efficiently. I have been to weddings previously where the meals were quite slow arriving to the table but this was far from it!!! I was shocked at how quickly the meals were serve. The food was of high quality and was a big meal: I don't think that anyone went home feeling hungry! There was a couple who are severely allergic to peanuts and this was no problem at all for the kitchen staff. The room was absolutely lovely and we also opted to hire the bridal backdrop and the photo booth. Both of these helped make the night perfect. I would highly recommend the Tramsheds for all events, the service was beyond excellent!!! Thank you again to the amazing staff that went above and beyond!!

Great place to see a show. If it says the show starts at 7:30 it'll actually start at 8. 7:30 is when the doors open.The only reason for 4 stars not 5 is that the seats are incredibly uncomfortable, if you have even remotely a bad back I wouldn't recommend coming here. My back hurt after half an hour of sitting down.

We held a conference here for the real estate industry on 3/5/22. We booked this venue sight unseen as we are located in VIC & it was a fantastic choice! Anil, Helen & the team were so lovely & helpful. The food was incredible! The venue space (Tramroom 29) was perfect for our 50 attendees, ideal size with great AV. Would highly recommend this venue for all conference needs, I had a wander & saw some other impressive spaces as well. Thanks so much guys, we will definitely book again for our next event in Launceston :)

I organise events on behalf of the Launceston Chamber of Commerce and we had a business after hours event here on 13th December. The feedback we have received from our guests has been totally positive and I can personally recommend this as a venue for any event you might be thinking of. The food was fantastic, the service was exemplary and I was extremely impressed by the audio visual facilities on site, as well as how user friendly and easy there were to get going.Would be more than happy to recommend Mick & the team at The Tramsheds Function Centre any day and we will certainly be using them for Chamber functions in the future. A convenient location for transportation, a good sized stage, a good number of seats, comfortable seats, good temperature control. The acoustics were great, there were enough toilets, quite a bit of parking and a restaurant nearby.

Attended an agricultural function here today. Venue is clean and functional, with easy parking just outside.The dinner menu was selected to showcase beef and was good. The afternoon tea was more than adequate. The kitchen staff did a great job.I have no idea of the hire costs but, from the point of view of a participant, it is a good venue for a larger gathering.

My wife and i had our wedding reception here on 21st of November, 2015 and it was great. The food is amazing, especially the pork belly.Mick is awesome to deal with, he's really helpful and flexible with any plans you have/want to have.The prices were great too!

We held the funeral for our Dad at the Tramsheds and I can't thank the team enough, especially Ann. It was a great venue and a fitting send off for our lovely Dad. Professional and compassionate.
