Sidney Mines is truly the best basketball coach out there. He is the best teacher, coach and mentor. He even treated me like a son. Without him, I wouldn't be where I was today. He helped me through the toughest time of my life when my dog got ran over. Sid is the best and I would highly recommend him for basketball and he is also a good listener. Thanks Sid.

As an athlete that never made teams and programs as a junior. Sids coaching and encouragement is what kept me on par with other athletes and now I’m a scholarship holder at the Centre of excellent in Canberra. He offers a holistic approaching in terms of improving basketball skills, coachability, leadership and work ethic. If you want to make it anywhere in basketball Sid is going to push you in the direction you need to go. I’ll always attribute any sort of success of mine to the hard work Sid did with me for many years.

From the holiday camps, to the past individual Sunday sessions my son has had a blast with working with Sidney. Sid is a master of teaching and really pushes the kids to their full potential. I really like how he welcomes kids who have never played basketball before, to kids that are at an elite level. No matter what level the kids are at, he has patience and persistence. My time and money has been well spent.
