The amount of data recovered was incredible. I feared for the worst, but was happy to get probably 80% of my most valuable files back.

ONTRACK is professional data recovery specialist company that provides excellent service in terms of both technical and competence.I suddenly experienced issue that the SSD with the OS was not recognized by my PC at all, and could not even sMwords that even if it was impossible for other companies, please consult with us, and finally consulted with ONTRACK.RENAE who communicated by phone responded very kindly and I crossed my finger and send the SSD.They checked it at a speed far faster than expected and replied that there was a possibility of recovery. Then within less than one day, She informed that 100% of all data had been successfully recovered. It was unbelievable.The cost wasn't cheap and it was a very painful expense, but I'm still grateful that the data wasn't worth the money for me and my family.If the situation is similar to mine, all I can tell is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME to deal with companies that appeals good-sounding words such as “over 90% successful recovery result” but cannot do anything. I took my WD HDD to one repair specialist in Sydney, hoping that data on which I had collected over 10 years could be recovered. Even though he tried to do so, he said that given the severity of the damage to the magnetic platters, that the data would never be recovered. So I just about lost hope, until I saw Ontrack Data Recovery on Google. They seemed to be a rather respectable business, and have helped a number of high profile clients, including government agencies. So I phoned up, and a representative said that yes, they will look into it as soon as they receive my damaged HDD. So after shipping it off to their main office in Brisbane from their representatives in Sydney, and selecting that this be a Priority repair. An evaluation was carried out, the representative phoned me up and said that the data would be indeed recoverable, to which I was overjoyed.After a thorough extraction of all recoverable data, the representative informed me a few days later, that about 78% of the data would be fully recoverable, but the remaining 22% would only be partially recoverable. Although I hoped 100% of the data would be recoverable, 78% ain't bad, and so I informed the representative to please proceed with the extraction. So after I made the payment to Ontrack, my new WD HDD, with all recovered data, was promptly shipped to me that same day. When it arrived at my home the very next morning, I was very happy indeed to see my most critical data, which was film stock and sound recordings, was mostly recovered.I'd like to give my grateful thanks to the staff at Ontrack Data Recovery for making me one happy client, and doing what I thought was impossible at one point. I highly recommend their services to all looking to have their data recovered from faulty or damaged HDD's, no matter how little or how much. What can I say except wow!!I initially sent my portable hard drive to a competing company after a catastrophic incident left it with the click of death. I only went with this alternative as they were at the top of google and I was desperate.The other company charge $250 just to look at the drive and sent me a deeply distressing generic email telling me to essentially destroy the drive as it was unrepairable. In a panic I started looking at alternatives for a second opinion, after calling a couple of different companies I eventually found ontrack and they were amazing.From the get go they were super supportive and reassuring, telling me to never destroy the drive as advancements in technology occur every year and you never know what can be fixable in a few years time, they accepted the drive and have no charge for the initial assessment. After a week or so they called me to say that the damage was bad however their engineer had managed to image the drive which was a great first step. They eventually came back with 79% of the drive being imaged which is so much more than i expected!I read somewhere that you should always go to ontrack first and I whole heartedly agree, from their amazing customer service to their expert engineers they made this scary experience a whole lot easier.Rebecca and the team are my saviours!

Excellent technical and customer service. My hard drive was physically damaged but the team managed to recover most of my invaluable data. They kept me informed all the way and sent me updates each time they reached a milestone. Highly recommended and will use the services again if the need arises in future. Well done team!

Ransomware attacked my clients and put their operations to a complete stop. In the past, I was able to recover them by restoring from backup. However, the ransomware managed to infiltrate backups and delete them from storage. This was a devastating situation. Ontrack came to our rescue and managed to extract the deleted backup file. This allowed us to upload database files to the client's new systems and get our clients functional again. The relief was absolutely enormous.
