Teachers are really great (don’t know about the maths and science teachers) and there are lots of different people which make it such a diverse and nice place to be. Would definitely recommend

When it was exam day, the librarians were talking very loudly about which coloured scarfs they should give to each other eventhough they like to shush students a lot. I was upstairs, they were downstairs. Despite the librarians, the other teachers here are very nice, especially the language teachers. This college has free pancakes every Friday morning so that makes up for all the angry librarians.

I highly recommend you do not send your children here. They do not offer proper support for students struggling with extenuating situations. My student advisor laughed at me when I told her I wanted to do law when I was in year 12 and convinced me to go from tertiary to accredited because my estimated atar was quite low and it would have ruined the schools ranking. She proceeded to offer pathways to law which would have taken 3+ years to be successful instead of the obvious path which was to do UC connect, further proving that they dont care about students they only care about numbers.BTW I have been studying law for the past 2 years and I am excelling, no thanks to Narrabundah College.

Incredibly high ATAR results (I believe highest in ACT) and it is not even a private school! Teachers and students are incredibly passionate about everything and they strive to do the best they can and in most cases, they go above and beyond!

My time at narrabundah was awful. Teachers and student advisors treated students like a number instead of a person. They gave all their time to the students doing well and neglected the students that would struggle and they would leave them behind. I know a lot of students that have come out of narrabundah with mental health problems. Would not recommend.

Don't choose this school. As great as the college's scaling is, it doesn't correlate with the amount of work that you need to put into it. Unless you're that one GENIUS able to easily get TOP MARKS in every single high-scaling class (Dble Spec Maths, Physics, Chem, English), don't bother coming here. It's not worth the scaling.

Those who try hard to get in, and do, are the go getters. They want to be at NC and do well academically because they want to! I am most impressed and taken by the Principal as her speech was from the heart and said with such pride. Very rare to see a principal who takes such pride in the academy she leads, most just think of it as another job.

The librarians are very rude and act as though they have absolute authority over students. My chinese teacher said that I could borrow the chinese textbook in my spare time; so when I went to the library to ask if I could borrow it, they would bicker about how they only allowed people to borrow school textbooks in class. I tried to explain to them that my chinese teacher allowed us to borrow books in our spare time, but the librarian was adamant in believing that I was somehow trying to break their rule and demanded that I leave. That rant aside, most of the teachers there are pretty kind, relaxed, and treat you as they would to most adults. So besides the library, the school atmosphere is very nice.

They talk themselves up as some great school due to their scaling, meanwhile they neglect student mental health and facilitate toxic learning environments in STEM subjects. They hide this aspect of their school by providing useless anti-stress" help
