Jason and the team at the Automotive Workshop, went the extra mile ensuring all safety items were thoroughly checked for the long trip to Queensland in the Lancer.Went over and above, with myself needing the vehicle back sooner on the day they got it done within the shortened timeframe requested which was much appreciated.Great pricing and top workmanship demonstrated In very clean and modern facility and great technicians, I’ll be back next time 100%.

Was visiting Hobart from the mainland and had a faulty diesel fuel pump on my VW. The guys were able to diagnose and make the repairs quickly and on short notice, getting me back on the road in no time. Excellent customer service

11/10 for friendly service, transparency, turnaround, and pricing.Jason was so upfront and honest about the work they had done, and I really appreciated him taking the time to show me the old part they replaced. I’ve never had a mechanic do that before and as someone who knows nothing about cars it was really reassuring.I initially went to The Automotive Workshop a few years ago after getting ripped off in a disgusting way by another mechanic in Hobart, and every experience since has been nothing short of fantastic. Definitely recommend!

We can highly recommend this business. We had a mechanical problem whilst holidaying in our VW Transporter . These guys diagnosed and fixed the problem for us on a Friday afternoon allowing us to continue our planned travels to remote parts of beautiful Tasmania. Very happy with our dealings and the service provided by the Automotve Workshop team.

Best experience I've ever had with a mechanic workshop. My wife and I broke down while travelling though Tasmania, and needed an engine replacement. Jason and the team were kind, honest and communicative through the whole process. They identified a problem that other mechanics missed, and wrote a summary explaining that the problem that was likely due to incorrect servicing from our previous mechanic. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

We feel so lucky about our experience with The Automative Workshop.The radiator of our X-trail broke down in the middle of our trip and all the workshops we called were booked at least for the next 2 weeks. But Jason found us a spot within the next 24h and replaced the radiator in barely 4 hours… You can feel he really knows what he’s doing. He even gave us chocolate after the work done, what else do you want ?It definitely saved our trip and we are very thankful for it.

My experience with the automotive workshop was entirely positive. For both Inspection and repair they had an appointment for me in the following days. Jason wanted to make sure I understand what was wrong with my car and talked openly about my options. Even after the repair was done he check in on me to see if everything is fine with the car. I call that great customer service.

Absolutely 100% would reccomend this place. We are currently travelling full time and got into a horrible situation were our car was un- drive able. After the local Nissan dealer didn't have time to deal with our warrently issue we decided to outsource and so glad we did. Boy did these guys save us. Can't say thankyou enough. Very thorough job, very efficient & happy we could be squeezed in. Also a very wicked reception area!
