Incredible food, brilliant service and extremely accomodating with the perfect atmosphere. Helped us celebrate a birthday and made it very special. We will definitely be coming back - this was my 3rd time here and definitely won't be the last!

Reviewed May 2023, as fine diningFirstly we were thrilled to go and are stoked Osteria is here on the Coast and doing what they do.We had a great night, plenty of things to love about the experience.It’s a relaxed environment with good lighting, music and general vibe. The staff and service were superb.The menu is so interesting and different, really enjoyed exploring and tasting our way through the 6 courses. Must also mention our dirty vodka martini’s were perfectNow to the food. Each course looked wonderful and had a lot of attention to detail. While I enjoyed the spectacle and experience, for me and this is always subjective, not all the flavours (smoked butter) and textures (lard) worked. It was a little on the carb heavy side, 3 courses being bread based. Only reason I didn’t go straight for 5 stars, everything else was perfect. With tweaks to these would be 5 star instantly100% try for a special occasion it’s a great experience and I understand the menu changes regularly, look forward to trying a different menu and going straight to 5 stars

What an exquisite experience it was to dine at Osteria. From being immediately greeted at the door upon arrival to the final nocciolino at the end of 6 sublime courses, the food quality, presentation and food service were outstanding. There was not a thing lacking in this fine dining experience in the 3 hours we spent in this wonderful hatted restaurant. We would highly recommend the matching wines as some of the choices were brave but of course worked perfectly with the paired dishes. We look forward to heading there again soon. Our new favourite restaurant.

Impeccable - service, food and wine! Favourite dishes were the starting sourdough with smoked butter; and the kingfish! The bass groper was a nice surprise with mushrooms. Keen to try again with next menu changes!

The smell of wood fired cooking hits you as soon as you walk through the door and you just know you are going to eat well! The food was excellent and the wine pairings pretty much perfect. Topping that off was great service - no wonder they won a hat! Would definitely go back next time we are up the coast.

Last night we celebrated my husband’s birthday at Osteria il Coccia. It was spectacular! My lord. The food is, off the charts, delicious! The new location at, 49 The Esplanade in Ettalong, is lovely and the decor is warm and very inviting. We enjoyed the 6 course degustation menu. I’ve attach the menu and meal photos. The staff are fun and know how to make you feel very special. A must try for everyone. You won’t regret it!

We had an amazing 6 course degustation lunch at Osteria Il Coccia!The highlight was definitely the duck dish with oat, prune, and desert lime - it was absolutely delicious.The service was fantastic and our server, Sara, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. She is definitely a great asset to the team.Overall, a wonderful dining experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal, and to be enjoyed with great service and beautiful interiors.We can’t wait to return!

Amazing dining experience. You could taste the flames! We had the 6 course degustation and it was perfect, every course was delicious and could not fault it. Wine pairing was fantastic too and so were the staff. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants on the central coast. We will be back.

What an amazing food experience! Everything from start to finish. All dishes beautifully presented and equally full of flavour. A particular favourite of ours was the burrata and the rump with burnt onion. Delicious! The pastiera napoletana was a great way to end an amazing meal. Not so loud that you had to scream across the table. Great vibe. Will definitely be back!
