The service this morning was wonderful. I am glad they let us order food even though we were there after 11 and they were closing at 12. We sat outside and it was lovely looking at the trees and vines climbing the walls and ceiling on the veranda. Very comfy chairs and a great vibe.

Even though we didn’t have a booking, they managed to get us a table. Which was great, as there were a couple of large parties booked in. The food and service was excellent, I would definitely return here again.

My first visit to this very lovely establishment as I am currently visiting Scone.I was absolutely delighted with the service, the food and love all the dining area options.Lunch was beautiful and I can’t wait to return for a cosy dinner by the fire.Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience.

A couple of pensioners staying the night at Scone. Thought we might treat ourselves to a night out and The Cottage was continually recommended. And she did not disappoint!Great ambiance, service was great and the meal! Fine dining at its best! The steak & lamb were melt in the mouth, mash so silky and vegetables were perfect. Thank you to the chef and staff for making our night so special!

What a fantastic experience. My wife and I went there and straight away you are greeted with a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. The dining rooms look beautiful, lovely comfortable chairs and plenty of room between tables.We had the pate and bread for stater, the home made beetroot relish was simply divine as was the pate.We shared the Lamb shoulder with the home made chips and brussel sprouts. The lamb was so soft it fell off the bone, it was sticky and so tasty, it was amazing. The chips where hot a thickly cut and the brussel sprouts had a glaze over them that was out of this world.For dessert we shared the Crème Brulee. It was so smooth with a crispy top and plenty for two people..3 glasses of wine and a beer. The service was fantastic from start to finish, it was a great night. Fantastic value for such a wondaful meal.If you are in Scone and like great food the Cottage is a must. We will be back.

We really enjoyed the food - the souffle & terrine entrees were delicious though bigger than expected, & our mains were also very tasty. The staff member assigned to our table was very friendly & attentive. We had an early booking so there were only 3 other small tables seated during our entrees. The ambience & noise levels became less pleasant however, as the restaurant filled up with several tables with larger parties. Overall a pricey special occasion dining venue.

Visited for lunch, food and service was amazing. Was excited to come here for some time finally made it up from Sydney to dine here.The food reflects the chef's passion as our mains were memorable. We had the rump steak (cooked perfectly medium rare) and the marrocan lamb neck (flavours complimented each other so well). Beer on tap was great and is a local pale ale. The desserts were to die for and coffee was great.Thank you Chef we look forward to dining again
