Sadly this old favourite isn't what it used to be. Meals were cool actually like they hadn't been microwaved long enough and if they were cooked fresh they didn't stay in wok long.Veges seemed to be frozen type perhaps that's why they didn't reach temperature in wok , hadn't quite thawed. Not much flavour .I'm really struggling to get be something positive to say. The young Aussie teen on the till was pleasant.

The short soup was way overcooked and was so mushy it was hard to pick up without it falling apart. The other dishes were also diappointing. More veges than meat etc. I think we have been spoilt by eating at jumbo palace in nelson bay for the last 30 yrs. On the upside the prices were reasonable.

Staff were very friendly and we had not eaten here in a long time. They were open over the COVID period. Ordered for 4, soups, Beef and Cashews and fried rice. Did not really think any of it was very nice. Chicken and sweet corn soup OK. Will not be returning :(

Disappointing......All 3 dishes were bland.....The fried rice was just that.... plain rice fried!!! It had no taste and was missing the vegetables and ham, all it had in it was a few measly small prawns...... And they charge $7 for that fried rice". Would not reccomend."

Definitely not the same restaurant as it used to be years agoHad a bit of dodgy chicken in me garlic combination was all fine up until that time tasted a bit off

Their mongolian lamb and special fried rice are to die for. Best Chinese take away in Belmont. A dining area is also available if you would prefer to eat out.

My family and I have been getting Chinese here for about 15ish years now. Paul and June are lovely and their Chinese food is unmatched

My family have been coming here for 20+years. Unassuming from the street but entirely delicious, we love Swan Lake.
